You walked into Griddy's nervous as hell. Five was bringing his family with him today to meet you because he felt it was time. You'd only been dating for a month and a half, but it felt like forever.

You scanned the area and spotted your time travelling boyfriend sitting with an empty space next to him. You smoothed out your hoodie and walked over.

You tapped his shoulder. "Hey Five. Sorry I'm late. I had to change because my shirt had dog hair on it." You explained.

"It's okay, we weren't waiting long. You look great have a seat." Five grinned, motioning for you to sit down.

You sat inbetween him and another girl. She seemed awkward and out of place, but really nice.

"So, you gonna introduce us to your lady friend?" The other girl sitting across from Five asked.

"This is Y/N, my girlfriend. Y/N, this is my sister Allison, my sister Vanya, and my brothers Luther, Deigo, and Klaus." Five introduced, motioning to everyone.

You shyly waved and gave a light grin. Five put his hand ontop of your free one under the table and gave it a light, reassuring squeeze. He held your hand throughout the course of your lunch and squeezed every now and again.

"So, Y/N, what do you like to do?" Allison asked.

"Well.. I enjoy writing and reading, and music is pretty great too." You replied.

"You play any instruments?" Vanya asked.

"Piano and violin occasionally." You explained.

"That's cool, I play violin too." Vanya grinned.

You smiled. "I'd love to hear you play sometime."

"Me too."

It was mid-afternoon when everyone started to leave the diner. You and Five were left at the table alone when everyone left. He put his arm around you and pulled you into a hug. He pet your hair and tucked the stray pieces behind your ear.

"So, what'd you think?" Five asked.

"I don't understand why you were warning me about them yesterday, they're lovely." You replied, laying your head on his shoulder.

"I just didn't want them to scare you off, that's all. They can be a lot to handle sometimes, even for me." He explained.

"But that's family. It wouldn't be a true family if they weren't intimidating and wild." You said, kissing his cheek.

Five smiled and kissed the top of your head as you enjoyed the peace and quiet of the diner.
