Diego: sunday morning breakfast
You woke up to the sound of music coming from the kitchen. You could hear Diego's whistling and humming all the way from the bedroom. You looked at the time, 9 am. It wasn't too late or too early for either one of you to be up. It was a Sunday morning and one of Diego's days off. You sat up and stretched, deciding to get out of bed.
You put on one of Diego's hoodies and strolled out of the bedroom. The smell of waffles hit your nose as you got closer to the kitchen. You walked in to find your husband shirtless in a pair of pajama pants, plating some waffles. He was dancing along to the beat of the music, you smiled.
"Nice moves." You complimented, sitting down at the table.
"Baby, you're awake! I made waffles." Diego replied, smiling at you and handing you the plate. "Eat up!"
You smiled at him. "They look amazing."
"When we get done with breakfast, you wanna stroll down town?" He asked and then kissed your forehead.
"Sounds good." You replied.
Diego clapped a bit in excitement and sat across from you, digging into his own breakfast. After all these years, he was still excited to do the littlest things with you and for you.
Luther: friday night mimosas
You had a long week at work, everything was stressing you out. All you wanted was to go home and not do a single thing. You wanted to be left alone and have some quiet time just to yourself for a few minutes. You walked in the house and realized that someone had cleaned, you could smell the cleaner.
Luther rounded the corner and smiled at you. He walked over and took your jacket from you before pulling you to the bathroom where he prepared a bath. He had candles lit and bubbles ready to go. He had two glasses and some champagne with juice on ice. He helped you undress and get into the bath.
"That's much better." You hummed, sinking into the warmth of the bath.
"Can I offer you a drink?" He asked, pouring some champagne and juice into a glass.
"Yes please." You said, holding your hand out. "This is so sweet."
"I know you've been stressed so I wanted to help." He told you, handing you the glass. "Cheers."
You smiled and took a sip. "How did I get so lucky?"
Luther simply smiled at you and he moved some hair out of your eyes. As long as you were happy, he was happy, however that looked.
Five: window shopping
He wasn't a materialist, neither were you, but you both just liked to look. He enjoyed just spending time with you however that looked. You suggested to Five one Saturday afternoon that you go downtown and browsed through the shops. Not to buy things but to admire things.
Five always held your hand when you two went places, he liked having you close. He enjoyed being silent and just watching you have a good time. You went into an antique store and made a B-line for the figurines. Five obediently followed you and found himself smiling at you cooing about how cute the little trinkets were.
"This one is a little penguin!" You said, your eyes sparkling. "Look at it, Five!"
"I see, love." He replied, smiling a bit. "It's very small."
"We should get a pet penguin. Wouldn't that be fun?" You suggested, a wide smile on your lips.
"You're something else, you know that?" He replied, slipping an arm around your waist.
"We'd make awesome penguin parents." You said, a laugh escaping your lips.
Five liked that you kept your humor after all these years. You never lost that spark about you and he fell in love all over again.
Ben: slow dancing
Ben wasn't one to really enjoy himself when it came to music. He enjoyed listening to it but dancing to it, he didn't like. Then when he first danced with you in the rain to nothing, he realized he enjoyed dancing if it was with you. You hadn't danced since your wedding and he decided he wanted to change that. He wanted to surprise you.
It was your 1 year wedding anniversary and he had just finished setting up the music player with some romantic music. You two finished eating dinner and you were suspicious when he told you to wait in the bedroom until he was done setting up for his little surprise. When you walked out, you were met with fairy lights and rose pedals around the living room.
"Oh Ben.." You gasped, looking around. "This is beautiful."
"May I have this dance?" He asked, holding his hand out to you.
"You may." You said, taking his hand. He spun you and pulled you to his arms.
"Darling you look perfect tonight." Ben softly sang to you. "I mean it, you look beautiful."
"God I love you." You whispered to him.
Ben had been in many relationships before he met you. Moments like this is when he's reminded just how beautiful you are to him.
Klaus: singing in the car
One of the many things you and Klaus enjoyed together was music. You both enjoyed listening to the radio and record player, no matter what kind of music was on. One of the things that you two did quite often was sing together in the car. It was a tradition you started when you first started going places together. It passed the time.
You were on your way to Grace's birthday party, that was over 45 minutes away. You started playing Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" and you both started belting out the lyrics. Klaus was attempting to do Michael's moves while sitting, getting laughs out of you. He always did that, mimicking the singer's dances to songs to get you to laugh.
"I think you need to leave the dancing to Michael." You teased, a smile on your face.
"Oh come on, I could totally be him." Klaus replied.
"I highly doubt that." You laughed. "He's the king of pop."
"And I'm the king of your heart. So I technically win." He said, grinning at you.
"If you say so." You teased, shoving him gently.
Klaus loved teasing you and making you laugh. If your laugh was the last thing he ever heard, he would die a happy man.
Viktor: lazy saturday night
Viktor was a homebody and so were you. You enjoyed going out and having a good time but nights like this were your favorite. The week had been long and you both had a rare weekend off. Instead of doing anything crazy or spending a night on the town, you decided to just have a quiet night in with takeout and some disney movies.
You were curled against Victor on the couch watching The Princess and the Frog. He had his arm around you, rubbing your back every now and again. It was rare that you two were able to spend a quiet night in since you worked a lot. Moments like this were very rare but these were the ones that you cherished the most. You just loved the calmness.
"You're so warm." You hummed, snuggling closer to him.
"Want me to get you a blanket?" He asked, looking down at you. "There's one in the bedroom."
"No, that's okay." You replied, looking up at him. "This is just fine."
"If you say so." He stated, pulling you closer to him, rubbing your back.
"I do say so." You mumbled, going back to the movie.
Moments like this with you were what reminded Viktor that the heartbreak was worth it. All the pain led him right here to his life with you.
