Case

I walk up the steps to intelligence. "I got you a case two actually" they all look at me I turn to Adam who put a picture up on the board "this is Henry Milligan" I sigh "he killed someone patrol is looking in the area as we speak he kill said person to threaten someone else" "who" Henry asks "I can't say not yet just trust me" he nods "the second is I have reason to believe a teacher is sleeping with a student so I need all male teachers there" "why don't we send someone to speak to the students" "no I already have my best detectives on it" I wave off "who" Al beats Henry to the question "Flynn" "you sent our grandson" Henry asked shocked well more like stated "no one is going to speak to cops plus he knows ever and he may or may not have taken Sophie for the cute factor" I shrug "relax they aren't finding the teacher just trying to convince the student to make a complaint and talk to witness's" I smile "you got this all figured out" I nod smiling.

Everyone was busy digging up anything about Henry Milligan and searching for who the teacher could be. "Guys you have visitors" Trudy announced there beside her was Flynn with Sophie in his arms and Lexi. The moment Sophie saw us she took of towards her father, jumping straight into his arms. "You were right" Lexi stated "I'm right about a lot of things as Henry but what are we talking about" I say carefully having a good idea but needing her to say it. "That I was drowning it was killing me from the inside" she sighs "someone" she glance at Flynn who sent her a smile "convinced me to tell everyone" I move to stand beside Al "but first I need to tell dad" she finished weakly smiling Al rushes over to her "you want me there" I ask she shakes her head "I'm ok" I sigh nodding wrapping my arms around her "you know where to find me" "could you maybe come to the hospital with me" I smile nodding "of course" she smiles thankfully I watch her and Al walk down the hall. "Your going to have to watch Al after what she tells him" I say out loud to everyone. "Lexi" Erin asks making me nod as I wrap my arms around Flynn "she tell you anything" "the same as what she told you" "a name for the teacher" I question he shakes his head "just know his young" I rub my face "that narrows it down" Adam said looking at his screen "there are four young male teacher everyone else is over fifty" he adds "look into all of them" I hear Al yell and a bang. I glance at Henry nodding, we both knew what to do.

I was at the hospital with Lexi. Flynn and Sophie were in the waiting room until Connor saw them so now they are all somewhere in the hospital together. "Lexi" Natalie greets "I need to ask does she need a parent here" she shakes her head "when you become pregnant no matter what you decided you legal become an adult" I nod smiling knowing Al doesn't have to be here. I stand beside Lexi holding her hand as Natalie does all the test. "What do you want to do kiddo" she didn't say anything "you don't have to decide now" she nods she has tears in her eyes "everyone will hate me" tears drip down her face "no they won't" "I willingly slept with a teacher" she rubs her face "so I'm the only one who knows that kiddo" she nods "we then you listen carefully" she nods as I sit in a chair beside her bed "you are the author of your own story" she looked confused "so tell the story your most comfortable with if you don't want anyone knowing you willing slept with a teacher don't tell them say he seduced you or something" she looks at me "that means the same thing" "except one puts the blame on him not you be very careful how you word thing" she nods "oh and don't tell your parents they may be mad at me for telling you that" she laughs "your the best Aunt Lillie" I kiss her head "there no one I would rather be here with" "your going to need to take a breath cause both these guys are going to feel the full force of intelligence" she nods nervously "you are going to stand up to them like the badass I know you are you will be the reason their world is going to fall down" she nods weakly smiling. I know she doesn't believe it but she will. It's horrible what happened to her but it will only make her stronger. "You know how my world turned upside down right" she nods I think everyone knew how my brother slaughtered my family, how I somehow got away. "I thought the world ended...thought my life was over. I had no one just me and my sister. We were shattered shells if Edward ever got out he wanted our blood told us ever chance he got" she nods "I didn't see it then it took me a while to see it but that made me stronger. I was more observant. Could tell when something was about to go off. Pretty good with the lying thing too I like to say it's because of that as well. My point is that because of that all the mundane things don't feel as bad and it will be the same for you" she smiles "fail a test it will never be as bad as this. Loose friends this is worse" she smiles "thank you" I wrap my arms around her "your a strong kid Lexi even before this...this only made you stronger now you just have to harness your strength and use it against them. Use it against the bad guys just like your dad does. Like your police family does everyday" she nods "I don't know how" she shakes her head "I know but you will figure it out beside you already have" she looks confused "you told me allowed me to tell intelligence even if I didn't tell them a name and they didn't know it was you at first" I shake my head "you walked into the district and intelligence and told your dad that is the strength you don't feel it yet and that's ok" she weakly smiles "I came cause Flynn convinced me" "sweets no one care truely do anything unless they want to" she nods processing what I said "what am I going to do about the baby" "whatever you like I got your back and I know your dad does as well" she nods leaning into me.
