Third person POV

Firehouse 51 was deployed to an accident. A car had plowed into a car with a small child inside. They pull up to the scene to see police already there. Chief Boden is briefed by the police on scene trying to figure out what exactly happened.

Casey and Severide walk up to the man "we got a baby in back seat of the black car. Cars locked no sign of the parents" he begins "second car crashed driver is trapped" they were told "Herman get a line on that car" Casey pointed to the blue four door car that has a lot of smoke coming from the bonnet. Severide and Cruz go over to the car with the black suv. The small girl was screaming and crying hysterically. Cruz was at her window tapping trying to get the little girls attention as Kelly shatters the window. The sound causes the little girl to scream. He tries to open the door from the inside, but it doesn't budge. Sighing he shoves himself through the window carefully not to get cut, as Cruz and Capp are trying to cut the door beside her open. "Hey" the little girl hysterical looks over at him. Severides eyes immediately widen "guys it's Sophie" he shouts causing everyone to tense and panic. They all knew something had to happen if Sophie was here alone, but focused on getting her out. Severide checks over her seeing only cuts on her. Cruz and Capp end up cutting the door off. Sophie struggled as all these people tried to get her out of her car seat. Somehow Cruz ended up with her in his arms. She was screaming kicking her legs. Cruz placed her on the stretcher to get check out. She had a cut on her head, that may need stitches. But she was hysterical. Kelly walks over to check on the girl. "Hey kiddo" he said holding his hand out, she instantly holds his hand. Clutching it for dear life.

Kelly carried Sophie into the 21. They figured it would be easier to get her to Voight or someone she knows before she went to the hospital. She hadn't stopped crying or wiggling. Sylvie and Gabriela had bandaged her up making sure she wouldn't bleed out or anything. "Omg" Trudy exclaimed seeing the baby girl with a bandage around her head. "Kim get Voight immediately tell him it's Sophie" Trudy demanded "we were called to an accident" he begins as he passes the girl to Trudy. Sophie cuddled into Trudy but didn't stop crying. "She was trapped in Pens car alone" "wheres Penny" Trudy asks just as Voight rushes down with the whole of intelligence behind me. Sophie dives into her fathers arms snuggling into his arms, clutching him for dear life.
"Mumma Hurt" everyone heard it. It was the only thing the one year old said after being placed in her fathers arms. Before that she wouldn't stop crying. "Where mumma Soph" Jay asks delicately "gone" it wasn't a question. Hank held his daughter a little bit tighter. He spins walking up the steps not saying a word to anyone. "She needs a hospital" Kelly tells them causing them to nod "we will make sure she's seen" Trudy reassured the man before he left. Jay pulled his phone out calling Will, knowing that Sophie wasn't going to leave. Voight wasn't letting go of his daughter.

"You think Yates took her" Erin asks the question everyone was asking but no one wanted the answer to. "Her and Nadia" the all glance over at Voights office. He was on the phone no doubt calling Justin.
