Christmas Prep

I wore a loose plaid shirt, tack pants. I was comfortable. I had spent the morning cooking and preparing. It was Christmas Eve my holiday. I always made it special everyone especially my family. It was all good he more special because Edward just got out. "Mummy is daddy home for Christmas" Sophie asked "of course everyone is coming" I say I think I will kill them if they don't.

The house was decorated top to bottom. The Christmas tree was massive and stood told tall in the living room. The presents were upstairs in my closet. I may have gone a little over board I love giving gifts to those I love, it's my love language. That and the less hugs I love to give. Justin, Edward, Charles were staying over Flynn still living here. Lexi and Al were coming over on the day, I offered to have them stay over I don't know if they will. I think Meredith is going to see her sister. I invited Jay and Will over I don't know about Will but Jay is coming. Adam said he might stop by after seeing his dad. Connor is coming over tonight like every Christmas, he always came for all the holiday much to his father disappointment. Kelly might coming he doesn't know he will stop by the day after if not. I prepare all the sweets today. I want to spend the entire day with my family not cooking all day. Hank does the bbq tomorrow but that's it everything else is done.

Sophie was her comfy Christmas clothes. She was wearing red tights that had Christmas trees on them, she had a red sweater dress with a Raindeer's in them. She was dancing in the living room with Flynn and Ellie or more like forcing them. It was a beautiful sight. I loved how willing everyone was to indulge her around this time. "Everything is going to be perfect" Henry said wrapping his arms around me "I know it's also Eddie's first Christmas with Charlie and us I just" "I know" he pulls me to him "even if you didn't put all the effort in it would still be perfect you want to know why" I lean my chin against his chest looking up at him "you made absolute certain every member of this family our family has your love for family being around those they love that is what will make it perfect" I smile he leans down kissing me causing me to kiss back. We were getting back to how we were. I question whether I was to soft and just brushing all our problems under the rug to create a bigger issue for later. But I love him I love what we created together. We were just back together back to being us in time for Christmas. I would have hated it if my complicated relationship ruined the holidays.
