Love

I held Sophie against my chest. I could not be bothered to get the carrier out. I look both ways before crossing the street. I smile seeing Jay sitting there. He immediately gets up and hugs me before taking Sophie from my arms cuddling her. "How are you doing" I ask taking my bag off my shoulder and putting it beside the table before sitting down myself. Jay sits across from me holding Sophie. "Ok" I glare at him "cut the crap I know Erin would have panicked and broke up with you" he sighs focusing on the baby in his arms. "What even happened" this causes me to sigh "Justin has no concept of what's a secret and what's not" I shrug "he also already knew just left me to handle it" Jay just smirks "I'll talk to her" he shrugs "it's nothing" I grab his hand squeezing it "Jay you like her don't pretend you don't fight for her" he doesn't say anything "Erin doesn't understand Love like we do" I begin "but she understands it like Henry...which means I understand it so you got me" he smiles "and I will talk to her" he nods "just don't give up without a fight at least you then know you tried" he nods getting up kissing my cheek and passing Sophie back to me. We sat talking and eating for the rest of the morning before had to go.

I walk along the water walk just talking to Sophie. "Penny" I spin around seeing Erin run towards me. The panicked look alarms me. "What's up" "Hank lost you and there someone killing people in the city" I sigh "his freaking out" she nods "how on earth did he loose me" "you weren't answering" I nod "was just talking to Soph here" she nods I walk back to the car with her. "Erin you got to fight for love" she stops turning to face me "I don't know what your talking about" "of course you do you love like Henry hard and deep but it's buried" I begin she looks away "Erin when you find someone you love that strongly and deeply you don't let them go for anyone you fight" "I can't risk it" she shakes her head "he will kick Jay out" I sigh grabbing her hand "no he won't Erin Henry isn't stupid he knew about your little romance he just didn't say anything just let me handle it" she stares at me in shock "he told me last night" she nods "Jay loves you and if you love him fight Henry. Your a good fighter you have his fighting nature" she slowly nods "I will insure no one looses their job" she sighs "Erin the worst that can happen is you can't be partners anymore but you never give up fighting for those you love" I wrap my arm around her and begin walking again towards the car. "Thank you" I look over at her confused "your always there even if I am a constant reminder of what he did" I sigh "I never blamed you of course I didn't I couldn't it wasn't your fault" "why were you always there" "Henry was worried and he couldn't be there so I was I need to make sure you were ok for the both of us" I squeeze her shoulder "your the mother I wish I had" "I will always be here" I shrug opening the car and putting Sophie inside her seat. "Did you drive here" I ask causing her to nod "I will meet you at the precinct" she nods walking over to her car and getting in.

I take Sophie out walking into the precinct beside Erin, who immediately takes Sophie cuddling her. "Your husbands going insane" Trudy tells me causing me to laugh, buzzing us up. I look around the moment I reach the top of the steps. Al rushes over hugging me "thank god" I pat his back before walking over to Henry who instantly wraps his arms around me hugging me. He hold me tight to his chest. "Where Sophie" he panics "she's here Hank" Erin answers as she sat at her desk "what's wrong what got you so panicked" I ask still in his arms as I run my hand along his jaw. "We have someone who is taking people from places near water and killing them" I sigh placing my head on his chest "and you know how much I love the water walks" he nods "think everyone knows Lillie" Al commented taping my back "well we're safe Sophie was just learning about the water and all the pretty flowers" they all laugh at my comment. Al walks over taking Sophie from Erin "come to your godfather" he said before walking back to his desk and sitting down. I honestly love how close everyone is to Sophie Grace, she definitely had them all wrapped around her finger. Henry led me into his office closing the door behind us. I knew Sophie was fine after all Al and Antonio were parents themselves and they all loved her so I didn't worry. Henry just holds me tight. "I don't know what I would have done if I lost you" I knew he wanted to hold Sophie but let everyone else.

We were now home. Henry was just tying somethings up. But Justin and Flynn were here so he somewhat relaxed. Flynn was holding Sophie sitting on the couch. "You alright" "I'm fine your father is just worried" he nods "how's Flynn and you doing" "we're good" he nods "the whole parenting thing" "honestly don't know how you did it" I laugh "you didn't make it easy" "I'm sorry" I smile hugging him "it's ok kiddo you grew up well" he nods "his a good kid but I always worry" I smile cheekily "now you know how I left" "only I wasn't a good kid" I sigh "you had a kind heart" I place my hand on his chest "and your a good kid now everyone has a bit of a dark period" I shrug causing him to laugh. I see Henry come in take his jacket off and put it on the hook before walking over taking Sophie from Flynn. He hugs our sweet girl close for a few minutes before turning to Flynn and hugging him.
