Confession

"Why is Soph saying she wants to see Eddie" I tense I knew she would open her mouth at some point. The kid has yet to figure out the meaning of keeping secrets. "What did you do" he practically demands any normal person would probably start to back track, no one wants to deal with an angry Hank Voight. But I'm his wife and his my Henry. "I made sure it was safe I promise" I say probably sounded more like pleading. "You took her there did you take Flynn to cause she keeps mentioning him and how he didn't like Eddie but she does" I nodding "I'm so sorry I just wanted him to know my family" I had tears in my eyes "I had us in our own private room I made sure no one but me got near them...I allowed Edward to hold Sophie but she was safe I promise. I wouldn't take them if I didn't know it was safe" I say immediately begging him causing him to sigh "you know better than anyone that I would do anything for my babies" he sighs wrapping his arms around me "I'm not happy but I do know you wouldn't put them in danger" he rests his head on mine "next you plan something like this tell me also I would like to meet him" I tense I don't think Edward would go for that "he knows my family my children if he wants to keep seeing them I have to know him" he demands I nod not exactly happy for the simple fact my brother hates cops. He also hates the idea of me being with someone else.

I sat on my deck patting my Myrtles. Sophie on the floor playing in front of me painting all the rocks she found, she had a bucket full that I ended up carrying. "I heard grandpa he sounded mad" "you don't have to worry Flynn I can handle my husband" "from what I heard he can be quiet scary" I look over at him "your dad tell you that" "Erin actually" "you two talking now" "yep she's quiet committed to being apart of the family" I smile nodding Ellie walks out sitting beside Flynn "why is Kaci telling me she can't hang out because I live with you" I sigh "she's her mothers daughter" I say "there Anderson's and from what I can figure out they don't like grandma" Flynn tells her nodding to me to tell me his going to keep the curse and fire thing a secret. "Why weren't you an Anderson" "Cat never liked me I was always Eddie's number one and Tori and Josie were my girls my sisters I think it started off jealousy but it spiralled" I shrugged not really carrying. I didn't care I had never been close to her. "Nate has been hanging around Max" Ellie said "doesn't want to go home" "cause his caught in the web" I shrug I did worry about him but I couldn't get caught up in it I had my own family. "Sophie let the cat out of the bag about Edward didn't he" I nod to Flynn's question "he wants to meet him but Eddie isn't going to go for that" I sigh "he only likes me cause I'm his sister he hates cops" "what about Al" Flynn asks I had told him some of the past. "Him and Al haven't spoken since he was arrested" "you believe he didn't do it" Ellie gasps causing us to look at her. "Does Hank know" "no Henry doesn't know I believe my brother be innocent and he won't know until I'm certain" they nod "mummy do you think Eddie will like this" Sophie asks holding up a now colourful rock. The two year old is covered in pain head to toe, she randomly had some in her hair. "I think he will" I knew he couldn't have a rock. We could get in trouble. I sigh "we will let it dry then we will take a photo to give to him...we will keep it safe in a special box until we can give it to him" she stares at the rock for a moment "can we get a pwetty box for him like the one we got for wexi for her birthday" I nod "we can go buy one a bit later ok" she nods sitting back down putting her painted rock off to the side. She goes through the bucket finding another one "do you think daddy will like this one" I nod she glances at Flynn and Ellie wanting everyone's opinion "should it be bigger" "I think he would like any rock you make him Soph" Flynn tells her she rubs her chin aware she's rubbing paint all over her chin. "I think I will make him two one for home and one for work...oh I can't forget Trudy Al Addy Rin" she begins to list "how bout you paint them all now then we can pick them later and on our way back from getting the box to keep Eddie's safe we can drop them off" "can we get them boxes to" I sigh nodding the boxes weren't expensive and they were cute just had different patterns on them and a bow on lid. I didn't mind spending money if she had the love of gift giving i had. Sophie starts painting. "You might have to come the amount of boxes we are going to get" Flynn and Ellie laugh.

It was much later. While Sophie napped I wrote Sophie's name on the back with the date. She had made cards for everyone with the help of Flynn and Ellie all different colours with glitter. I had put all the rocks in a basket, the card in a pile off to the side.  We left to buy the boxes. We were in that store for what felt like hours. Everyone needed the perfect colour box. My brother had a black and white patterned box with a black bow.

We were parked in the precinct parking lot. My brothers box's on his seat. Sophie standing up in the back seat sorting out the rocks and cards. She carry's Trudy's while I place all the others in a bag for me to carry. She races up to the desk I lift her up so she can place it on the desk. I sit her on the desk, she sat watching Trudy intently as she opened the box. "You make this" she nods excitedly"they in" "nope but due back any second" I look at Sophie "you know what that means" she shrugs "if we are quick we can surprise them" she nods jumping into Trudy's arms hugging her before Trudy put her down. She runs around the desk grabbing my hand "quick mummy we want to do it before they get back" I wave to Trudy "thank you" she shouts buzzing us up I'm dodging police officer the whole time. I close the gate and we are alone, it's so quiet. I put the bag down passing her the different boxes as she races around putting them out. "Rin gets pink...Jay gets blue...Vin green he likes green right" I nod "he likes green soph" "Addy gets yellow...Kev gets orange...Toni gets dark blue and daddy gets red he likes red he told me" I smile watching her race around putting them on their desks. "We should hide" she said grabbing my hand. We hid in a viewing room.

It wasn't long before I heard them start to question what the boxes were. Sophie runs away towards them "surprise" she screams Adam instantly screams making everyone laugh "she just appeared" "she's not a genie" I laugh coming into view "my darling brother gave her the idea to collect rocks because the all the leaves were disappearing so she spent the morning painting them and afternoon making cards with Flynn and Lexi before we brought the boxes we were buying one for Eddie to keep his safe so everyone got one" "you like it" "I love it" Adam said instantly "you haven't looked" She said crossing her arms "did you write this" Henry asks her causing her nod happily "yep fly help me" she smiled "I have been told they all say something different" they all smile looking at their rocks and cards "you also have one at home she wanted to make you two so you don't forget her and well she couldn't stop there she was an artist on a mission" I show him Henry the picture of Sophie once she had finished painting. She was a rainbow girl you could barely see her skin. I seriously don't know how she managed that. "Yes we had a long shower didn't we" I tickle Sophie who's in her fathers arms giggling and nodding her head. Henry was laughing. "She was so excited to surprise you guys practically dragged me up the steps" he smirks I just hug him. "Soph we have to talk about this I'm not fake police" I laugh at Adams remark Sophie gasps "we have to go give Kelly, Will, Con con, Veee, Apool, Otie, Ciss and O there ones" "how many did she make" I shake my head laughing "to many" looks like I'm going to spend the rest of the day going to the firehouse and hospital. "But I don't want to leave daddy" she pouts "we can do it tomorrow" I try reassure the girl "but Jay will tell Will and it won't be a surprise or Addy Will tell con con" she said dramatically tears building up in her eyes "I won't tell Will promise I'll even help you scare him later his a tough one to scare" she gasps "he is I always try but he always figures it out his clever like mummy" her eyes light up "well how bout I won't tell him then tomorrow you come to my house I invite Will over and we scare him and you can give him your surprise" she nods jay looks between me and Henry causing us to nod telling him it's fine. "But Addy Will tell Con Con and if Con Con finds out Tin will find out and Tin can't his is the most magical one" Henry puts her down "I won't Soph promise" "I don't believe you" she crosses her arms stamping her foot "but you believed jay" "because he promised last time we promised you told mummy" "I won't tell him" Adam said at a loss of how to convince her she wasn't budging "how bout if he tell I'll have Trudy put him on patrol" Adams eyes widen in horror at my comment "ohh Addy scared yeah mummy" the two year old wiggles her bum giggling "I bet if she asked Trudy probably would do" "yep everyone loves our child" I pop the p smiling up at Henry. I had red a few of the letters, her adorable writing brought tears to my eyes. Henry's said to the best daddy in the world I love you Sophie. Erins said to Erin your the best sister I love you so much Sophie. Jays said to Jay your super cool big brother love Sophie. Al said to Vin I love you your the bestest in the world Sophie. Adams said hey fake police you are super funny and fun love you Sophie. Kevin said Vin I love you your super cool. Antonio said to Toni your cool love you so much. Connors said to con con I love you so much can I be a doctor Sophie. Justin's said To Tin you are the best brother I hope you get better I want you to play with me love you so much Sophie. Honestly her two year old writing made me realise how grown up she's becoming. Granted Flynn or Lexi basically did dots she just joined them but still it was her wobbly writing.
