Just them in me

Only sky can fit

Tay tossed and turned on his bed under the dim light. He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep so he practiced extra hard for the march band today hoping it would help him to fall asleep atleast from the tiredness but it turned out tiring himself only made it more difficult to fall asleep. Its 30 minutes past mid night and he got only two calls so far, one from his mother and the other from his sister. Tay was not sure whose call he was expecting but he kept staring at the phone before reminding himself of what he is doing every few minutes and turn to the otherside. 

After few times he gave up and sat up on his bed irritated just to frown from something glistening on the floor by the door. he turned on the lights and found it to be a white envelope. He went and carefully picked it up and opened it. Inside there were a few words written beautifully on a aesthetically decorated note. 

Hey Tay, 

Wish you a very happy birthday. I hope for the next birthday, I would be the first to wish you and not through a paper. 

I have something to give you, Please meet me at the bench by the lake at 8 AM 

Happy Birthday. 

Tay was pretty confused reading the note and the fact that there is no From on it. But he felt happy to know that he has a secret admirer. Since the person didn't mention anything about having Tay like them back, Tay decided to show up at the lake in the morning. 

He went back to bed, smiling and before he knew tiredness took over his muscles and he fell into a comfortable slumber. 

The next morning, Tay woke up from the Sun light peaking through the window and poking his eyes. He groaned as he willed himself to wake up. But springed up and sat straight in shock on realising that he overslept. When he checked his alarm clock, which he forgot to change, it proved him right showing the time as 10 minutes past eight. 

Tay thought for a few seconds and decided to still try as there is  a posibility that the person is still waiting for him. He washed up and changed as soon as he could and reached the said bench in search of the person he never saw. 

And to his disapointment there was no one, he flopped himself on the bench gasping for air which made the sticky notes stuck to the bench fly and make noise. The noise made Tay turn and notice the similar handwritting, it was the same misterious person. 

Did you sleep in again?

It's okay, but I am sorry as I am not able to wait for you, 

My classes start early, let's meet at 6PM, same place. 

Tay took a deep breath reading that. He pulled the sticky notes and shoved into his pocket before leaving to his department. 

During the lunch break, Tay was in the canteen with his friends, when one of them called everyone's attention. 

"Guys, did you see this?" saying that Lee put his phone at the centre of the table for everyone to see.... "Everyone is talking about it, who could it be?" 

"Woh... That's romantic... " White exclaimed. 

Tay blinked at the post that's going viral on college's Insta page. It's the pic of the note that his admirer left at the bench that morning and the caption read... "Who is up for a show at 6PM?" 

"The lake sure is going to be crowded this evening...." Lee added.

"Should we go too? Its going to be interesting..." Mike suggested. 

"Guys..." Tay called for his friends but stopped not knowing what to say next. 

"What!" White exclaimed.
