After nearly 20 minutes, Pete opened the door with his key and entered the house alone. Kao was sitting on the couch watching TV, which was weird because Kao never watched TV, it was always just a decoration for him. He uses his phone or laptop to watch content.

"Football!?" Pete exclaimed... "Since when do you watch football?"

Kao didn't respond, as if he was engulfed in the game.

Pete left the luggage on the ground and plopped beside Kao..."Do you even know how many players a football team needs?"

Kao still ignored him. So, Pete took the remote and switched the TV off.

"Tsk!" Kao blurted, irritated... "What are you doing?"

Pete didn't let Kao take the remote... "Don't you want to know why Hank was here?"

"No, just give me the remote." Kao was almost on Pete trying to get the remote

" I can see through you. Do you think you can lie to me?"

"Whatever!" Kao sat up straight, making a blank face.

"This is not fair, Kao. You can't be mad at me without even giving me time to get rid of Hank."

"I am not mad at you, I am mad at myself."

Pete rolled his eyes... "You are being unreasonable. Why would you be mad at yourself?"

"I knew, I knew it was too fast, How could you have started liking me in merely a night just because you were drunk, I was stupid, Hank is your type, I am not frail or small or cute like him, If it was a heat of the moment thing and if you want to continue dating Hank, I don't mind you know, I understand, We should forget last night ever happened"

Pete snarled at Kao's words.

Kao did not pay attention, though, he kept talking... "The deal didn't go through with Mr.Whiyo anyway, so let's just forget that this trip ever happened or that we acted as lovers. Let's just forget it all and be how we have always been."

Pete just stared.

"Okay, then that's settled. I will go take a shower." Kao picked up his bag and turned to his room.

"Sure, let's take a shower." Pete shrugged and followed Kao into his room

"What are you doing?" Kao exclaimed, seeing Pete unbuttoning the shirt in his room.

"What? I want to shower too."

"Go, do it in your room then."

"This is my room."

"Have you lost it, Pete?" Kao was agitated

"Not really. In fact, I think I am the sane one here."

Kao frowned.

"So do you want to hear what I want to say while we take the shower or after the shower?"

"I am not letting you join me in the shower," Kao declared

"Don't then." Pete walked towards Kao half naked... "I will let myself."

"Pete!" Kao warned as his back hit the wall.

Pete arrested Kao against the wall... "Yes, bab.e"

Kao let out a breath... "Didn't you understand a single word I said?"

Pete nodded calmly... "I did!"

Kao made a confused face... "What do you think you are doing then?"

"Trying to make love to you ofcourse!"
