Something Inside

Kai POV

I smile at Deku's victory before heading off to join him at the nurse's office. 

Nurse: "Second day of school and he's already a regular patient."

Kai: "Can you fix him or not?"

Nurse: "Of course I can, do I look like an amateur?"

Kai: "You don't want my opinion."

Nurse: "Jerk."

The door opens to reveal Lanky.

Kai: "Look who finally showed up."

All Might: "I had to monitor the rest of the matches."

Kai: "If you had stopped the match like I said then he wouldn't be in this situation."

All Might: "I'm sorry."

Kai: "Sorry ain't gonna cut it. You should've been better."

All Might: "I know, I just wanted him to see that he was capable of winning the match."

Kai: "Understood. But you have to understand, he went a large portion of his life without a quirk. Now all of a sudden he's got a quirk that'll rip his body apart if he's not careful. Not to mention you pushed his body to the point it wasn't able to get used to the sudden surge of power. You need to train him how to gradually increase his power."

I begin walking out when I look over my shoulder at All Might.

Kai: "I suggest you start taking his situation seriously. Otherwise we're gonna have a problem."

I look him dead in the eye as I say that last part. He slightly reels back before nodding, I then take my leave.

*3rd POV*

Kai stares into All Might's eyes. From that stare All Might peers into Kai's soul and spots something staring back. Behind his greenish blue eyes is a version of Kai that spooks even All Might. A version that's not his normal laid back self, but a version that's boiling with so much hate and anger that it'll make the devil himself look like a saint.

*with Kai*

I exit the the nurse's office and see Bakugo angerly storming out of the academy. I slightly grit my teeth and walk to him.

Kai: "That was completely reckless what you did."

Bakugo: *annoyed* "Huh?"

Kai: "You nearly killed my brother."

Bakugo: "He lived didn't he? Why don't you leave me the hell alone and worry about your stupid brother?"

My eye twitches when I power up my speed. In an instant I have Bakugo's face smooshed against the ground and his arm pinned behind his back.

Bakugo: "What the hell!?! Let me go punk!!!"

Kai: "Listen and listen good. My job is to make sure Deku is taken care of. And right now you're in the way of that. You can boast about how powerful you are but let this be a lesson to you. I possess more power than you can even begin to comprehend. I can easily take you down before you have the chance to activate that quirk you claim makes you better. Just because you have some semblance of power does not make you better. It juust makes you a target to people with even more power."

Sweat forms on him as I let him go and walk away. The next day I make my way to school when I'm hounded by the press. I groan loudly as they bombard me with questions. 

Reporter: "I'm with the HNA, can you give us a word?"

Kai: "Yeah, buzz of!!!!!! All you damn reporters do is surround people and push your mics into their faces! Then you ask them questions that either invade their privacy or aren't even related to what's going on! Just do us all a favor and leave us the hell alone!!!!"

I march through the gate as the woman from before tries to cut me off.

Reporter: "Just one scoop, that's all we-"

She's thankfully cut off by the security system deploying a barrier. I smile at their complaints and make my way to class. The second I arrive I hear Aizawa nag me.

Aizawa: "You're late."

Kai: "Got held up with the press outside."

Aizawa: *sigh* "That's fine, just take your seat. Now that everyone's here we can get down to business. The first task will decide your future. You all need to pick a class representative."

They all argue about how they should be picked which makes me shake my head.

Iida: "Silence everyone please! The class representative's duty is to lead others. It's not something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader."

Kai: "Great, now we have democracy even in our schools."
