Bus Ride

Kai POV

I push my body up for another push up when the doorbell rings. I exit my room to see Deku talking to two people.

Kai: "Who is it?"

Deku: "Kai, it's just Mineta and Denki."

Denki: "Yo."

Mineta: "So you coming or not?"

Kai: "Where?"

Denki: "To the school swimming pool."

Denki: "For some fun before the training camp."

Kai: "Sounds fun, let's do it."

We leave the apartment and head to the school pool. As we change I can't help but notice Denki and Mineta smiling like two jokers, they're up to something. We exit the locker room to find the other male students stretching.

Kai: "Hey guys."

Iida: "Kai, glad to see you join us."

Kai: "Can't let you guys get too far ahead of me."

Bakugo: "Kai."

I look and see Bakugo marching his way to me.

Bakugo: "I want a rematch, me and you, right now."

Kai: "We're on school grounds, but I'm sure we can have a regular old swimming contest."

Iida: "Hey yeah. Everyone, let us have a competition, we'll compete to see who can complete a fifty meter swim the fastest." 

Sero: "Sounds like a good time."

Kirishima: "Let's get it on!!"

Momo: "Iida, mind if we help you?"

Iida: "Sure."

Ojiro: "Can we use our quirks?"

Iida: "We're on school grounds, so there shouldn't be a problem. But let's just not cause any damage."

I line up with the others as we get ready.

Momo: "On your marks, get set." *blows whistle* 

I activate my true power and jump towards the other side of the pool. But Bakugo blasts himself quickly catching up to me. We draw near and both land.

Kai: "I win!"

Bakugo: "Are you blind!? I won by a landslide!!!"

I slam my head against his.

Kai: "If anyone needs their eyes checked it's you. It's obvious I won."

We growl at each other when Momo walks to us.

Momo: "Actually, it was a tie."

Bakugo/Kai: "Are you serious!?!?!?!"

We both cross our arms and curse the other while more boys line up. Momo blows the whistle and they all activate their quirks. However Todoroki pulls ahead by using his ice to skate to the other side winning. 

Momo: "Final group, get ready."

Kai: "You're gonna win Deku."

Bakugo: "Like hell he is!"

Kai: "Just watch idiot."

Momo blows the whistle while I use my new skill. I activate my boost and share it with Deku. A slight glow envelops him and he shoots to the other side of the pool winning by a landslide.

Bakugo: *grits teeth* "That's cheating you bastard!!!!"

Kai: "The only rules were that we were to no cause any damage, so I didn't cheat."

Bakugo grits his teeth tighter while I flash him a smug smile.

Aizawa: "It's time for you all to leave."

Kai: "Come on, we haven't even had the final match yet."

Aizawa: "It's five o'clock. You've been swimming long enough."

Kai: "Buzzkill."

Aizawa: *raises hair* "What was that?"

I just cross my arms. The next day I find myself in front of the school.

Aizawa: "Now that you've finished up your first semester at UA high, it's time for summer vacation to officially begin. However, don't think these will be months of rest for you heroes in the making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. You're aiming to become plus ultra."

Students: "Yes sir."

I check through my supplies when we begin loading up. As soon as we begin moving I'm crippled to the window. 

Aizawa: "Here's the deal. We'll be on this bus about an hour before our first stop. Make sure you stay focused."

Kai: "An hour!?"

I groan and puke out the window.

Deku: "Don't worry Kai, it'll be over before you know it."

Bakugo: "Such a weakling."

Kai: "Shut," *burp* "Up."

Mina: "I've got some gum, will that help?"

Kai: "I doubt it."

Momo: "I heard it helps keeping your eyes on an object straight ahead."

Without thinking Bakugo sucker punches my gut knocking me out.

3rd POV

Kai falls back in his seat as x marks appear on his eyes.

Iida: "Why would you do that!?!"

Bakugo: "If he's out cold he won't have to worry about puking his guts out."

Tsuyu: "That or you just wanted to hit him."

He simply smiles.

Students: "Yep, you wanted to hit him."
