Genesis' View

"Those men you were with, we need to know where they went." Rick knelt in front of the younger boy.

"I ain't telling you nothing." He answered.

"Jesus, man. What the hell happened back there?" T-Dog questioned.

"I told you, this little turd and his douchebag friends came out of nowhere and jumped me." Daryl paced back and forth.

"You're the one who jumped me, puto, screaming about trying to find his brother like it's my damn fault." The kid explained.

"They took Glenn. They could have taken Merle too." Daryl exclaimed.

"Merle? What kind of hick name is that?" The kid judged. "I wouldn't name my dog Merle."

Daryl went to attack him, but Rick and I jumped in front of him.

Daryl went into Glenn's backpack and pulled out the folded-up do-rag with Merle's hand in it.

"Want to see what happened to the last guy that pissed me off?" Daryl glanced around and then tossed the hand into the kid's lap. The kid squirmed out of the chair and fell to the floor. "We'll start with the feet this time." Daryl grabbed him by the shirt.

Rick pulled him back and knelt back down in front of the kid.

"The men you were with took our friend. All we want to do is talk to them, see if we can work something out." Rick offered.

"You sure you're up for this?" Rick looked up to T-Dog.

"Yeah."

"Okay. Gen, grab another rifle and go with him. Take the bag too." Rick ordered, and I nodded.

T-Dog and I climbed to surround the main entrance and waited for them to come out.

It was hard to hear what both sides were saying, because of how far we were apart.

I watched as Rick and the main man on the other side turn towards where T-Dog and I were planted, and the man main made eye contact with my scope.

"Come on, man. Make the trade." T-Dog muttered. "Please."

"I have my scope pointing directly at this guy's forehead. Shit goes wrong, he'll be the first one dead on the ground." I spoke.

"Oye!" The man yelled, and I saw three men on the roof. One of them had a bag over their head.

The bag was ripped off, to reveal Glenn with a piece of tape over his mouth.

I watched Daryl and Rick drag the kid backward, and the other group go inside. T-Dog and I met up with them back at the pinpoint location, and Rick started to load the guns up.

"Them guns are worth more than gold. Gold won't protect your family or put food on the table." Daryl started. "You willing to give that up for that kid?"

"If I knew that we were gonna get Glenn back for what we're doing, I would be on your side rick. But we don't know what these guys will do when they see us walk. They could take the guns, and not give us Glenn back. They could kill us as soon as they see us." I explained.

"You think that vato across the way is just gonna hand him over?" T-Dog questioned.

"You calling G a liar?" Miguel looked up.
