Genesis' View
As we were driving, Shane had to stop because his jeep was running low on gas. I watched from the seat on my truck as he went to fill up when a group of geeks started to surround him.
The RV door swung open, and he jumped in and we drove away from his jeep.
"Gen, the plan is to go back to where the vatos were. They can give us shelter for a night or two." Rick's voice came through on the radio.
"Good plan. Is Shane alright?" I asked.
"Yeah, he's fine."
We kept driving until we came to a stop near the walls of the vatos.
"Bet they're barely hanging on," Andrea commented looking at the surroundings. "What makes you think they'll take in strangers?"
"With the guns we gave them they'll probably through us a party." Daryl chipped in. "Good call. For once."
We climbed through an open spot in the walls, as Glenn and I led the way.
"Something isn't right. Where are the lookouts?" I surveyed the area, keeping a tight hold on Sierra's hand.
We walked past a corner, to see geeks chowing down on flesh.
"Son of a bitch!" Shane exclaimed. Lori and Carol covered their kid's eyes while Sierra turned her head into my side.
A geeks head popped up from her meal, looking directly towards the group.
I watched Rick mumble something, and took the first shot. Which led to me, Glenn, Daryl, T-Dog, and Shane following along.
"On me!" Rick yelled, and we followed him through the now graveyard of geeks and civilians.
We made it inside, making sure all the corners were clear and safe.
Sofia let out a whine, making Daryl turn back. "Put a sock in it!"
"Enough." Lori tried.
"Shut her up or I will," Daryl whispered.
"We don't have the fuel. We have to hunker down for the night. Rick, you, me, Daryl, and Gen will sweep the area to make sure we're alone. The rest of you, barricade those doors."
The four of us walked away from the group and Daryl took lead. I swung a door opened and the boys went in front of me.
It was the room where the old woman was having an asthma attack. Papers were scattered across the floor. Tables and chairs were flipped. And there were bodies scattered around the room.
The rest of the group made it to us, and Sierra was latched onto me.
"Upstairs is our best bet. We've cleared a few rooms. It can barricade those if we have to. We'll be alright." Rick explained.
"Do you mean it this time? Or are you lying to us like all the times before?" Carol asked.
"That's unfair. And no help at all." Lori stood for her husband.
"What the hell happened here?" Glenn asked.
"What do you think? They got overrun." Andrea guessed, making Daryl and I scoff. "Something to say?" She glanced between Daryl and me.
"Yeah. How about observant?" Daryl spoke.
"Observant. A big word from a guy like you. Three whole syllables." Andrea laughed.
"Walkers didn't do this. Geeks didn't show up till all this went down. Somebody attacked this place, killed all these people, and took whatever they wanted." Daryl started.
"They'll shot in the back, execution-style." I backed him up.
"You're worried about walkers? I'd be much more worried about the people who came and did this." Daryl put his crossbow on his back. "Get a dictionary. Observant." He stalked into the hallway of the groups.

I was sitting on the stairs with T-Dog taking the first shift of look-out.
The only noise was the geek growls from outside and the faint talking of the group in the other room.
I turned as footsteps came out of the door, revealing Dale with three plates of whatever in his hands. He handed the to us and put his back against the wall.
"The only place we have now is Fort Benning. But from the looks of what we all saw on that highway, no one is gonna be there." I spoke, breaking the silence.
"Back at camp, we had fried fish and no one on watch. People died, maybe they didn't need to." Shane sighed.
"Fort Benning. That's the only consensus. We need to lose a few vehicles, there's too many."
"Maybe if we put some of our supplies from either the RV or van in the back of my truck, we can get more people from Carol's car to leave it behind," I suggested, making rick nod.
"We can siphon the gas from the vehicles we don't take, and it'll get us out of the city," Rick explained.
"Let's just try to get a little shut-eye tonight. T, you and Gen stay in the first watch." Making the both of us nod.
