Genesis' View

We arrived back at the prison, and instead of going inside, I stayed on watch in the guard tower.

You're the reason why Glenn, Kaden, and Maggie were captured. You sent them on the run.

You're the reason Daryl left with Merle.

You're the reason everything is fucked up now.

I had stayed in the guard tower all night and woke up to Michonne in the field, and Rick outside of the gates.

Sierra's View

"So you're sure Tyresse's group came through here?" Glenn asked Carl.

"He said he thought he came through here." Carl corrected him.

"Great, that means there's another breach. The whole front of the prison is unsecure. If walkers just strolled in, then it's gonna be cake for a group of armed men." Glenn sighed.

"Why are we even so sure he's going to attack?" Beth asked. "Maybe you scared him off."

"He had fish tanks full of heads. Walkers and humans. Trophies. He's coming." Michonne explained.

"We should hit him now."

"What?" Beth asked.

"He won't be expecting it. We'll sneak back in and put a bullet in his head." Glenn configured.

"We're not assassins," Carol spoke.

"You know where his apartment is. You and I could end this tonight." Glenn got in Michonne's face. "I'll do it myself." And she let out a small nod.

"He didn't know you were coming last time and look what happened. You were almost killed. Daryl was captured. And you and Maggie we're almost executed. And don't get me started on Kaden." Hershel said.

"You can't stop me."

"Rick would never allow this."

"You really think he's in any position to make that choice?" Glenn stared.

"Think this through clearly. T-Dog lost his life here. Lori too. The men that were here. It isn't worth any more killing." Hershel stated.

Instead of listening to them argue, I walked outside to see Gen sitting in the tower still.

I climbed the tower and sat next to Gen, who was carving something into her gun.

"What are you doing?" I asked her.

"Keeping watch." She muttered. I looked at her handgun, and it had the initials SW carved into the side of it.

"SW?" I asked, and she glanced at the gun.

"Shane Walsh. It was his gun, since before the end of the world. His name deserved to be on the gun. His shotgun too." She answered.

"Glenn's taking over as leader until Rick is better," I told her.

"Good. Maybe he'll do something about the governor." She looked around the fenced-in yard.

"Are you blaming yourself for this?" I looked at her, and her head shot up.

"If I didn't send Maggie, Glenn, and Kaden on that run, we wouldn't have this problem. I sent them, Sierra. Not Rick, not Glenn, Not Daryl. I did." She looked at me.

I didn't say anything and left her in the guard tower.

Genesis' View

After Sierra left the tower, I watched as geeks stupidly roamed the grass. Glenn had stormed off with a truck, and Hershel went to talk with Rick.

Then there were gunshots.

The Governor.

Bullets were flying past my head, and when I went to shoot back with my rifle, I was hit in the side.

I fell in pain and clutched my side. Blood spread onto my hand extremely quickly. I felt the other side of my waist, to make sure there was an exit wound, and fortunately, there was.

I continued to get shot at until I shot one of their men out of the opposite guard tower.

He must've snuck in through the blindside of the tower I was in.

Once everything was quiet, a truck rammed through the gates and stopped in the middle of the field.

Geeks had started to wander out, and towards Hershel.

Michonne jumped into action and immediately ran to Hershel.

I watched as the governor's truck sped off, and now there were geeks surrounding everyone.

I took multiple shots at the geeks in the field, and the geeks that were after Rick until I watched a bolt go through one of them.

Merle and Daryl started to take down the geeks by Rick, so I focused on the geeks that were after Glenn, Michonne, and Hershel.

I shot the terms that were after Rick, Daryl, and Merle while in the field, and I hobbled down the tower.

The four of us were standing in the courtyard when Sierra ran up to me.

"You're bleeding!" She looked at my waist.

"I'm fine. Let's just all get inside." I said, and the group all wandered inside.

"Let me take a look," Hershel said, and I lifted my shirt for him to see the wound.

"There's an exit hole, so there's no bullet," I told him. I followed him to his cell, and he started to stitch my side up. "Why'd it have to be Axel to die? Why did it have to be someone from our group?"

"I don't know. But the governor will get what's coming to him." Hershel said, and I put on a new shirt after he finished stitching me up.
