Vent

Narrator- After Jaden leaves Chelsea's house he heads to the studio. He decides to call Brandon over to accompany him.

Jaden's thoughts- I got so many emotions piling up inside. I feel like i need to vent in order to survive. My stomach is in knots like a rope. I'm smoking on this blunt by every other minute i choke. My heart is heavy and i cannot forget. I reminisce about all the hits. I really put my hands on the one that i love. I pray that the one above can forgive me. I went to far and i left a scar. I left a stain on my name. Even if i change I'm still the same. She wiped off the blood but she still felt the pain. Im a lame because she took the blame. Somehow in her heart she let it go. She could have been petty but she let me grow. Now I'm sitting her sick because i just don't know.

Narrator- Brandon enters the studio to see Jaden moping around. Jaden has his pen and pad in his hand like he's writing a song. He sees Brandon and puts on a fake smile as if he was happy.

Jaden- "What's good with you my bro?"
Brandon- "Trying to figure out why you got the puppy dog eyes. You look beat up. Not physically but mentally. You know what i mean?"
Jaden- "Yeah it's cool. I'll take that."
Brandon- "Anything you want to talk about?"
Jaden- "Man... i don't know how to say this"
Brandon- "I'm listening."
Jaden- "The real reason Chelsea broke up with me is because i beat her up."
Narrator- Brandon looks at Jaden as if he's joking. He sees that Jaden has a straight face and his eyes saddens. Brandon puts his head down with his hands on top of his head."
Jaden- "I know bro. I really fucked up. I went through her phone and i saw some messages and i blacked out. I just saw red. I threw her phone and i-"
Brandon- "You don't have to go over all the details."
Jaden- "I fucked up and i can't fix it. I thought i was better than this. It don't matter what i do now. I'm going to always be a failure for this."
Brandon- "Don't talk like that dude. It's never to late to change."
Jaden- "What would my mom think about me? I'm doing the same shit my dad did to her. If i failed my
Mom then i basically failed in life period."
Brandon- "Stop overthinking it bro. You messed up. Hold yourself accountable but this isn't the end. Don't let it happen again."
Jaden- "She pretended that she crashed her moms car to protect me. She didn't want anyone to know i beat her.
Brandon- "Changed behavior is the best apology. I know you love her. It just seems like you two do need time apart. If it's real love it'll come back dude. You have a precious baby girl that's looking up to you. You have to be strong and better for her bro.
Jaden- "You're right. But what if she doesn't come back?"
Brandon- "It's more women out here."
Jaden- "She has my baby though."
Brandon- "It doesn't mean that she's the one."
Jaden- "I suppose to let another man raise my daughter? Thinking about that makes me angry and sick to my stomach."
Brandon- "Don't think like that. I'm not condoning what took place but you can come back from what you did. I hoped that you apologized to her."
Jaden- "I did but we both know that's not enough. I even bought her a car."
Brandon- "You bought her a car?"
Jaden- "Yes because her mom stopped letting her drive her car after she wrecked it."
Brandon- "understandable."
Jaden- "But i want to be back with her. She won't take me back."
Brandon-"You can't expect for her to take you back. To be honest you should just be happy that she forgives you, If she does."
Jaden-""So I'm suppose to just give up on my family?"
Brandon-"You can still be a great father to your daughter without being with Chelsea."
Jaden- "Chelsea is my family. I love that girl to death. Janiya needs both of her parents together."
Brandon- "I don't think it's best for y'all to be together right now. Doesn't she already have a boyfriend?"
Jaden- "Yes but I'm working on that now. You don't think she loves him do you? They haven't been together that long for her to be in love with him."
Brandon- "Bro, they've been together and it doesn't matter if it's been years or months. If they are with each other that's because they want to. I think you should just let them be."
Jaden-"I appreciate you for listening to me but this is my family. I have to keep us together. Chelsea is just upset because of how i did her in the past."
Brandon- "Why would she seek revenge now?"
Jaden- "Because obviously the opportunity presented itself. I know she still loves me. She didn't say she didn't."
Brandon- "Of course she does. Doesn't mean that she wants to be with you again. I'm not blocking you bro, I'm just saying don't crash out."
Jaden- "I don't give a fuck. For mine I'll definitely crash the fuck out. I'm not about to just give up."
Brandon- "Well i ran into your sister again. She wants all of us to hang out."
Jaden-"Who is all of us?"
Brandon- "I was with Princess when i ran into her. She was just saying how she wanted to hang out with you more. She said we should got to Dave and busters together."
Jaden- "Sounds like a plan. What do Princess think about that?"
Brandon- "She doesn't care she's over that old stuff that happened."
Jaden- "Wow unbelievable."
Brandon- "It's old and besides Jada's your sister. We would rather you two to have a close relationship. Everything is all good."
