The proposal💍

Narrator- A week has gone by and Jaden has arranged for everyone to meet up at the park. It was a week after Chelsea's birthday. Jaden was suppose to propose on her birthday but he was so nervous to do it that he chickened out. He told everyone that he was having her a birthday party. Today he is planning to follow through with the proposal. He invited everybody including Cortez and Jada. Everybody was in attendance except for Jada. He had food and drinks at the picnic tables set up. Once mostly everyone arrived he asked everyone to come to the picnic tables. Everyone comes over to see what's going on.
Jaden- "Thank y'all for coming out to celebrate Chelsea's birthday. It's food and drinks here for everybody.
Narrator- He pauses and looks at Chelsea nervously. He is so scared that he starts shaking.
Jaden- "Chelsea...come here."
Narrator- "Chelsea looks confused.
Jaden- "I love you and happy birthday."
Narrator- Everybody smiles and says aww because they could see that Jaden was sincere about his feelings towards Chelsea. When everyone stops clapping, Chelsea turns back around to go sit down but Jaden calls her name again. She turns around and sees Jaden kneeled to the ground with one foot up and he is holding a ring in his hand while shaking nervously. She was so surprised that she didn't know what to say. Everyone was caught off guard also. Every one starting clapping as they saw Jaden and Chelsea in tears. Chelsea walks closer to Jaden and says yes. Jaden places the ring on her finger. He then gets up to hug her. Everyone is excited about the engagement but Ada. Ada is appalled that Jaden even proposed to Chelsea. Instead of congratulating the two she heads to the car and sits there until everyone decides to leave. Ronnie comes up to the car and wonders why is Ada just sitting in the car
Ronnie- "Why are you sitting in the car like this?"
Ada-"I can't listen to that nonsense. I will not let this happen to our daughter!"
Ronnie- "I figure you wouldn't."
Ada- "Did you know about this? I bet he wasn't even man enough to ask for your blessings."
Ronnie- "Well... actually he did."
Ada- "You gave him your blessings?!"
Ronnie- "He was still going to do this anyways."
Ada- "Are you nuts?"
Ronnie- "The boy already had a child with her and plus he's a good young man."
Ada- "I cannot believe you. Take me home because I'm talking her out of it."
Ronnie- "Baby, you can't do that."
Ada- "I'm her mother and i make the decisions."
Ronnie- "That's where you're wrong at. You're her mother and you're not her and you cannot make her decisions. We promised to not be so tough on her anymore and we need to stick to that word."
Ada- "I am sticking to it but i cannot let her do something so stupid!"
Ronnie- *sighs* "Marriage is a beautiful thing and i think you and i can agree on that. Let's not judge them before they even make it down the aisle."
Narrator- Jada just arrived to the park while everyone is leaving. She doesn't see Jaden or Chelsea. She decides to go back to her car. As soon as she's about to get in the car she hears a familiar voice. The voice was of Brandon and he was laughing at Princess. She turned around to see Brandon laughing with a girl. Brandon looks over at her and is amazed to see Jada. He tries to look back over at Princess to signal her inside of the car. Jada gets out of the car and walks up to Brandon.
Jada- *smiles* "It's nice to see you again Brandon. How is everything?"
Brandon- *looks nervous and smiles* "Everything is fine."
Princess- "I'm his girlfriend. You could have spoke to the both of us."
Jada- "I'm sorry i didn't mean to disrespect you.
Princess- "You look familiar. Where did y'all meet?"
Jada- "I meet him at my volleyball game one day and we were work out partners for a bit."
Princess- "Oh ok now i most definitely remember you."
Jada- "I'm sorry i don't think we have ever met."
Princess- "I saw you once before but you weren't able to see me."
Jada- "Well i came here to support my brother's girlfriend birthday party."
Princess- "Who is your brother again?"
Jada- "My name is Jada and my brother name is Jaden."
Princess- "Jaden is your brother?!"
Jada- "Yes. Where is he?"
Princess- "He's actually in his car over there. Wow y'all do favor alike.
Jada- "So y'all actually know him?"
Princess-" Duh, Brandon's mother is Jaden's god mother. Jaden and Brandon have known each other their whole lives."
Narrator- Jada starts looking angry because she's putting two and two together. She realizes that Brandon knew who her brother was all along and never said anything about it to her. She looks at Brandon with a mean mug on her face. Brandon sees her mugging him and he tries to walk off with Princess. Jada walks behind Brandon and yells.
Jada- "You know that Jaden was my brother all along didn't you?!"
Brandon- "What?"
Jada- "Don't act fucking stupid. You knew that Jaden was my brother and that's why you tried to get with me."
Princess- "He did what?"
Brandon- "Please, this was all a year ago."
Jada- "So you didn't even come to my volleyball because you wanted to watch me play? You only came to get close to me so you could get information. You are a sick weirdo!"
Brandon- "I'm sorry i never meant for this to happen. I just wanted to make sure that it was really you. I didn't plan on falling in love with you."
Princess- "What do you mean by falling in love with her?"
Brandon- "I'm so sorry Princess i didn't mean it like that."
Narrator- Princess marches back to her car. Brandon tries to stop her but he couldn't because she pulls off quickly.
