Date?

Narrator- Jada has been noticing that every time she posts her location on Snapchat Brandon pops up on her. She comes  up with a plan to see if he is really watching her. Jada takes a snap at her at a local library where Brandon lives. Ironically enough, Brandon is the first to view her story. She sits and waits and about ten minutes later Brandon walks through the door. He looks around until he spots Jada reading a book. He smiles and taps her on the shoulder.
Brandon- "How you just gone come to my side of town without checking in?"
Jada- "I didn't know that I had to check in."
Brandon- "I'm just kidding. How have you been?"
Jada- "I'm great. I see that you're watching me very closely..."
Brandon- "I'm sorry.... Maybe I should have asked before showing up."
Jada- "Yeah because what if I was here on a date?"
Brandon- "You're right. You're dating someone? Not like I'm trying to... I mean you don't have to answer that question."
Jada- "Huh?"
Brandon- "I mean Im not trying to bother you. I just wanted to speak."
Jada- "We spoke the other day and we suppose to be all linking up soon."
Brandon- "Im so sorry. It won't happen again. I was just bored and thought it'll be ok."
Jada- "Why are you being apologetic?"
Brandon- "Because I literally just invaded your privacy."
Jada- "Is this the first time?"
Brandon- "Im out of line you're right."
Jada- "It's fine Im literally just here getting a peace of mind."
Brandon- "What are you reading. If you don't mind me asking."
Jada- "Astrology."
Brandon-"I'm a virgo what do you think about us?"
Jada- "Stalkers."
Brandon- "I see you got jokes. What's your zodiac sign?"
Jada- "Capricorn."
Brandon- "People who loved to be stalked."
Jada- "Haha. So not funny."
Brandon- "So can I continue to stalk you or you want me to leave?"
Jada- "Only If we can go get something to eat."
Brandon- "That's fine with me. I'll drive if that's cool with you."
Narrator- Brandon and Jada both walk out together. He opens the passenger door for her and they drive off. While I'm the car Jada grabs the AUX cord and starts to playing Jhene Aiko.
Brandon- "You like Jhene Aiko?"
Jada- "I love her."
Brandon- "What's your favorite song by her?"
Jada- "I can't really say. It's so many. Do you listen to her?"
Brandon- "No, but i like the song you're playing now."
Jada- "It's called frequency."
Brandon- "She sounds so relaxing."
Jada- "That's why I like listening to her."
Brandon's thoughts- I'm looking over at Jada and she's truly a vibe. I was afraid that she would never talk to me anymore after popping up on her at the library. I couldn't resist seeing her. The way she closes her eyes and sing along to the music is so alluring to me. Im fighting the urge to grab her hand and kiss her.
Brandon- "What do you want to eat?"
Jada- "It doesn't matter. Wherever you take me."
Brandon- "So if I take you to a restaurant you're coming inside?"
Jada-"Sure why not?"
Narrator- Brandon pulls up to Applebees and looks nervously at Jada. He looks down at his phone and sees that Princess is calling. Jada glances over and sees the name "Bae 🌹" and turns her head quickly. Brandon doesn't answer the phone and just stares at Jada.
Brandon- "You ready to go in?"
Jada- "Why didn't you answer the phone?"
Brandon- "I don't know maybe because I'm about to go eat."
Jada- "We haven't even got in there to order food yet."
Brandon- "I can call her back if you want me to."
Jada- "So it was Princess?"
Brandon- "Yeah it was her."
Jada- "She's probably looking for you huh?"
Brandon- "She knows where I'm at"
Jada- "Did you tell her you're with me?"
Brandon- "To be honest she'll probably think I'm on a date."
Jada- "Date?"
Brandon- "Well I know we're just getting something to eat but many people would consider this a date."
Jada- "It's not a date but you're not telling her you're with me?"
Brandon- "Its only going to start an argument. But if you're offended then I can tell her."
Jada- "I'm not offended that's your relationship."
Brandon- "Well we haven't really been on good terms."
Jada- "Why not?"
Brandon- "We always have conflicting opinions and when I don't agree with her she gets mad. When she gets mad she gives me the silent treatment as a punishment."
Jada- "Well maybe you should agree with her."
Brandon- "Haha not funny."
Narrator- Jada and Brandon both go inside Applebees together.
Brandon- "So how is life treating you?"
Jada- "Pretty good I can't complain."
Brandon- "I know we talked about your dad before. Do you still feel the same about him?"
Jada- "I don't know honestly. Sometimes I want to write him but then again I'm still hurting. I feel like he really doesn't care about me. Jaden should write him."
Brandon- "I believe he does care about you. You're his daughter and he'll be proud to see the beautiful and smart young lady you have become."
Jada-"Thanks but I don't know."
Brandon- "I think you should at least get the closure you deserve."
Jada- "I just don't know where to start."
Brandon- "Start with your feelings. Tell him how you feel. He has nothing but time so he will reply."
Jada- "I want to talk to Jaden alone. Could you set that up?"
Brandon- "Sure."
Jada- "I haven't really had time to talk to him it's like he's always busy."
Brandon- "He has time now."
Narrator- Brandon has his phone on the table and it keeps vibrating. Jada looks over at his phone so Brandon turns it off and puts it in his pocket.
Jada- "Now you're turning it off."
Brandon- "It'll be rude if I answered the phone. We're literally having a conversation."
Jada-"I'm not saying anything I'm just wondering."
Brandon- "You're wondering if it's Princess?"
Jada- "Is it?"
Brandon- "Yeah it's her."
Jada- "I don't want any problems. We're just friends."
Brandon- "I know we're just friends. Why are you even bringing that up."
Jada- "Because your girlfriend keeps calling you and you're not picking up."
Brandon- "If I was with my other friends I would have done her the same way."
Jada- "Sure."
Brandon- "Anyways, how is your love life going?"
Jada- "Fine I guess."
Brandon- "Are you dating?"
Jada- "Somewhat?"
Brandon- "Is there someone you're talking to?"
Jada- "Yeah nothing serious."
Brandon- "He goes to your school?"
Jada- "You are asking a lot of questions sir."
Brandon- "Sorry. I hope he treats you right. You don't deserve someone who is going to play with your feelings."
Jada- "How do you know what I deserve."
Brandon- "Because I know you and I know you're a good person. You're very beautiful inside and out. Dudes see girls like you and they take you for granted and I don't want to see that ever happen to you anymore."
Jada- "Thanks I'm trying to choose the right guys. You just never know these days."
Brandon- "Take things slow and actually get to know these guys before you be all in for them."
Jada- "Ok Mr. Love Doctor."
Brandon- "No I'm just trying to protect you."
Jada- "Why are you trying to protect me?"
Brandon- "Because I care about you."
Jada- "Why do you care about me?"
Brandon- "Because I got to know you for you and I love you. I mean I care about you."
Narrator- Brandon looks embarrassed and just looks at his food. Jada stares at Brandon and waits for him to look up. Brandon looks up at Jada and smiles nervously.
Jada- "You love me?"
Brandon- "Yeah but not like that."
Jada- "Oh ok."
Brandon- "I mean I would but you know."
Jada- "I know what?"
Brandon- "I'm sorry I mean I do but we're cool?"
Jada- "Stop being so apologetic and just say what's on your mind."
Brandon thoughts- I want to tell Jada how I feel so bad but I don't want to come between our friendship. Then I'm still in a relationship so I don't want to cheat on Princess.
Brandon- "I'm scared."
Jada- "Scared of what?"
Brandon- "Lion, tigers, and bears."
Narrator- Jada laughs at Brandon. They sit and talk for hours until eight o'clock pm. Brandon takes Jada back to her car. He opens the door for her and gives her a hug.
Brandon-  "Let me know when you made it home safe."
Jada- "No you let me know when you make it home safe. Love ya Bran."
Brandon- "you love me?"
Jada- "Yeah what's wrong with that?"
Brandon-"Nothing. I like that because I love you too."
Narrator- Brandon leans in and kisses Jada on the cheek. She looks at him in shock.  Brandon just stares in her eyes while still being in her face. He's so close to her that he could kiss her on the lips. He starts breathing heavily and puts his arms around her. Jada stares back into Brandon's eyes and waits for him to make a move. Brandon lets Jada go and waves goodbye to her. Jada gets into the car and Brandon waits until she pulls off.
Brandon's thoughts- I wanted to kiss her on the lips so bad but I feel so bad that I'm still in a relationship. I really don't want to cheat on Princess but it's obvious that I have chemistry with Jada. I hope I didn't mess things up with Jada by not kissing her I just don't want to hurt Princess.
