Put Yourself In My Shoes

Jaden is at Peyton's house and he's there alone. He's been popping pills and getting high. From time to time he'll sip some lean. He hears a knock on the door so he's stumbling around his room and trying to get up to open the door. He falls to the floor and takes two deep breaths in and out. His heart is pounding and his stomach begins to ache. Jaden has his hands covering his mouth so he won't throw up on the floor. He hears a door open. It's Princess yelling his name. "Jaden?!" Jaden doesn't want Princess to see him sprung out like this so he manages to make it to the bathroom before she can spot him. He throws up in the toilet immediately. He tries to go one time but his stomach is so upside down and he begins to feel like he's about to fall out from exhaustion. She hears the awful sounds coming from the bathroom. She stands by the door in curiosity. "You ok?", says Princess while she's trying to figure out what could be wrong. Jaden cannot respond so she asks again but realizes that he is in no condition to lie to say he's well. She bursts open the door to see Jaden hugging the toilet and puking. His eyes are red, his nose is running, and he's sweating really bad. Princess runs to the refrigerator to get Jaden some water. Now he's laying on the bathroom floor holding his stomach and shaking. She pulls him up and to the bathroom tub. He's so lethargic that he slips into the tub and just lays there. Princess turns the shower head on to the cold water. Jaden lays there while he's getting soaked. His eyes starts to roll back. Princess runs to her dad's medicine cabinet and grabs some narcan. She lays him down and gives him the narcan. Jaden tries to grab her hand to show her that he's good. She's hesitant because she doesn't know if he's really good or not because he's still shaking and sweating. "I'm good just take me to the bed. I promise I'm good." Says Jaden as he's still shaking and sweating. He's talking very slow and he tries to get up out the tub. She helps him get up. Jaden's whole body is soaked. He has on a wife beater and gym shorts. She helps him take off his shirt and shorts. He's strips naked while Princess tries to find him a towel. She was weirded out a little that she saw his private area. Princess didn't know how to feel. She's a virgin and never engaged in any sexual activity. Princess never even to watched pornographic videos. Her mom was very strict. Princess spent most of her time studying because she aspired to become a doctor. Princess already had college credits. She took another look at Jaden's penis while wrapping the towel around him. Princess made sure to look while he wasn't watching. Seeing him completely nude sparked her curiosity about sex. Princess's mother Natalia is very strict and Princess spends most of the time trying to make her mom happy. Princess was more afraid of her mom than her dad. Peyton was very laid back and understanding. Natalia often came in the way of Princess and Peyton's relationship. Once she got pregnant she told Peyton she was going to put him on child support because he didn't want to marry her after finding out she was pregnant. Natalia and Peyton were only dealing with each other for three months before she found out she was pregnant. Peyton hid the fact that he was already married. When Natalia opened up about being pregnant. Peyton said that he supported her decision to have the baby and that he would step up. Natalia wanted more. She didn't want to coparent. She wanted to get married and to be with him. Then one day Natalia followed him home. Natalia saw that he had another woman and that he also the woman he was with had a daughter. She confronted Peyton and he confessed that he had a wife but that it wasn't his daughter. His wife Angela had a baby before they eloped. Peyton was excited to finally have a baby. It still wasn't enough for Natalia because she wanted to be the only one so she stopped dealing with him and has been bitter ever since.

Princess walks Jaden to his room so he can lay down in the bed. Jaden lays down and tears start rolling down his face. Princess finally asks what happened. "I want to kill myself," says Jaden while having an emotional breakdown. Princess tries to comfort him while he's letting it all loose. "You got so much to live for. What about Janiya?" Jaden starts to cry even more thinking about the thought of his daughter finding out that her father is no longer here. He knows the pain he feels about not having his parents in his life. "Chelsea already has someone maybe she'll get a better step daddy. Nobody cares about me. I'm really a lost soul," says Jaden as he tries to convince Princess that she can't save him. "You know that's not true. You're just going through your first heart break. To be honest I am too but I know that everything is going to be ok. God removes people out of your life for a reason. But know that it's always better to come. You have to trust that." Princess taps on Jaden's chest while continuing preaching to him. After a while he gains some strength to get up. He starts putting his clothes on while Princess just sits there akwardly. She goes in the living room and recants what she happened. Princess wasn't a huge fan of Jaden but seeing this broken down side of him made her feel remorse. Jaden comes out after getting fully dressed. "You and Brandon broke up?". Princess responds, "yeah he's in love with your sister. I'm done pretending like he's not."Jaden acts like he didn't know. "Wow." Princess shrugs her shoulders. "Maybe it's because I didn't have sex with him. Either way I respect myself and if he doesn't want to wait for me then it's his lost." Jaden shakes his head "I didn't know I'll talk to him." Princess stops him, "no I'm good. I don't want to go back with him."
