The talk 😑🤭

Narrator- Chelsea's Mom Ada and Shakira meet up to get breakfast and have a talk. Ada is fifty- one years old. The two are sitting down at the table.
Ada- "So how long has your son been sexually active?"
Shakira- "He's my godson and i guess she's the first. I haven't heard about him messing with anyone else.
Ada. "Teenagers will be teenagers but it's our job to make sure they do it the right way."
Shakira. "Yes and that's by separating them."
Ada- "No it's not by separating them. It's about teaching them safe sex. As much as i don't want my daughter to have sex I cannot stop her. I was young before so i know that it only makes it worst. You just make sure you teach your son how to wear a condom and not come through my window."
Shakira-"Excuse me?"
Ada-"I said you teach your son to wear a condom."
Shakira- "My god son? Are you condoning them having sex."
Ada- "I'm not condoning it but it's going to happen whether we like it or not so teach him to do that in your house."
Shakira- *Looks around* Jaden doesn't pay any bills at my house."
Ada-"He doesn't pay any bills in my house either. He doesn't have a job or a house to put my daughter in if she gets pregnant so teach him to wear a condom."
Shakira- *sighs* "Has you daughter been sexually active?"
Ada-"No she has not. I pay attention to my daughter."
Shakira- "I'm the one who told you."
Ada- "You confirmed it but i was already seeing the signs. My daughter is about to be fourteen i didn't expect it to happen so early but we must make sure they are being safe."
Shakira- "My daughter is nine years old i couldn't imagine her having sex at thirteen."
Ada- "Your son is thirteen and he's having sex and he's probably been having sex."
Shakira- "For the last time that is not my son."
Ada-"You say that as if you're ashamed to claim him. Whether he's your god son or not you're raising him. He is a reflection of you. No wonder he's out here having sex because you don't pay him any mind."
Shakira- "Is the pot calling the kettle black? Your daughter is having sex too so what does that say about you?"
Ada- "It says that you failed him motherhood so she's trying to fill in voids for him."
Shakira- "Listen Ms. Ada you're much older than me and i was always taught to respect my elders but i will not let you discredit me. I took Jaden in almost two years ago. His mother is- , his mother left and his father is in prison. I'm doing all that i can but i have two children of my own.
Ada- *chuckles* "I'm much older than you and much wiser take my advice this conversation is over good day. *Ms. Ada gets up and leaves*
Shakira- *looks down and ashamed*
*Scene ends*
Narrator- "The scene takes place at Shakira's house. Shakira goes into Jaden's room and has a talk with him."
Shakira-"How long have you been having sex?"
*Jaden's thoughts*
I've been having sex since her  'little friend'  the 'babysitter', Mackenzie taught me. I wasn't going to tell her about that. I wasn't going to tell her about me and Grace either. Especially not about me meeting different girls in the bathroom at school to receive oral sex. I only told her about what she knew.
Jaden- "I just started having sex last month with Chelsea. I know what you're thinking but we were going to tell y'all."
Shakira-"You can always talk to me."
Jaden- "I know and I'm sorry i didn't tell you."
Shakira- "Jaden there are some things you should know about a women's body before you just jump to doing that. You should get to know someone and wait for them. Not only can you get her pregnant you can catch diseases."
Jaden-*acts shocked*
Shakira-*puts head down and shakes it* "Did you even wear a condom?"
Jaden-"Yes i did every time."
Shakira-*opens the bag she brought into the room* "These are condoms and i want you to have them. I'm not telling you to go out and have sex because i don't want you doing that at all. If you do go out and break my rules at-least make sure you're safe." *She gives Jaden a side hug with her head still down and leaves the room*
*Jaden's thoughts*
Shakira wasn't too fond of me because of Cortez. Cortez and Shakira separated last year because she decided to take me in. I feel like she blames me for the failures of her marriage. Cortez told Shakira he didn't want me here. He didn't feel comfortable with my dad writing me letters using their address. He thought that my dad would send someone to kill his family. I haven't been able to hear from my dad since my mother left me. Cortez's cousin and my dad and his gang didn't get along so my dad has Cortez's cousin killed. Even though they were beefing Shakira and my mother were best friends and continued to be best friends. I have cousins on my mom side i haven't been able to visit since my mama left me. My cousin Jason has been hitting me up on Facebook about coming to visit me. My cousin Jason and my auntie Anette live in Alabama. Jason is just months younger than me but people called us twins. Every time i ask Shakira can Jason come over to visit she gives every excuse on why he can't. I don't understand why i am being kept away from my family.
