Narrator- Princess decides to sit by Chelsea and Janera at lunch today. Janera and Chelsea are looking at her crazy.
Princess- "I know you're wondering why I'm over here but i came to apologize to you."
Janera- *looks disgusted at Princess* "Save it."
Princess- *rolls her eyes at Janera* "I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to my bestfriend."
Chelsea- "Best friends don't leave when times get rough."
Princess- "I'm sorry that i did that."
Chelsea- *sheds a tear* "You really hurt me."
Princess-*Hugs Chelsea* "I'm sorry."
Narrator- Jaden goes baby shopping with Peyton. He gets baby clothes, baby swings, a car seat, troller, and bottles. Peyton is wondering how Jaden can afford everything on their way to the check out.
Peyton- "You sure you don't need help paying for all of this?
Jaden- "No bro thanks."*pulls out his wallet with a large amount of cash in*
Peyton- *gets curious* "Where did you get all of this money."
Jaden- "I've been saving from cutting grass and stuff."
Peyton- "Okay dad of the year."
*Jaden's thoughts*
I wasn't going to let anybody know how i was getting my money. I'll do whatever it takes for mine. It felt good to be able to buy my baby the things she needs. I can't wait for Chelsea to see all the stuff that i bought. Ms. Ada will be surprise to see that i stepped up.
Narrator- After i got finished shopping i asked Peyton to take me to Chelsea's house so i could give her the gifts. When i get there he mother answers the door.
Ada- "What are you doing here?"
Jaden- "I came to drop off the baby's gifts that i bought her."
Ada- "You bought her?"
Jaden- "Yes i been saving up."
Ada-*sees Peyton and Jaden bringing in all type of baby stuff and smiles* "While i guess you're really stepping up.
Chelsea- *looks all the gifts* "Wow Jaden this is a lot of stuff."
Jaden- *whispers in Chelsea's ear* "Next I'm going to get us a place to stay."
Chelsea-*Smirks*'
Jaden- "Where is your purse?"
Chelsea- "In my room why? "
Jaden- "Put this in there." *hands Chelsea three hundred dollars.
Chelsea- "WOW Jaden i can't take this."
Ada- "The hell you can he's giving it to you."
Chelsea- "Thank you Jaden."
Jaden- "I want you to be able to go get you some new maternity clothes or something."
Ada- "I'm proud of you i guess your god given dad is showing you the right way." *looks at Peyton."
Peyton- *laughs* "I'm not his dad I'm more like his uncle."
Ada- "Well you're doing good."
Peyton- "Thanks but this was all Jaden's idea."
Narrator- Peyton and i head home and i get a text from Devon's brother Hurk.
Hurk- "You did good on yo lick but if you wanna be down you gotta take a hit."
*Jaden's thoughts*
Hurk wants me to get jumped in. I really don't want to get jumped in because once you're down you're down for life. I have plans for my life and it wasn't gang banging. I want to someday flip my dirty money and become a legit business owner. I told myself that no matter what i get involved in right now it is only temporary. I walk over To Hurk's abandoned house and three other guys including Devon walk up on me and start throwing punches at me. The first guy misses and i slam him pulling him down to the ground. After a couple punches the first guy is knocked out but Devon and the second guy get the best of me. Hurk tells them it's over. My head is spinning as i try to get up. Hurk, the second guy, and Devon are laughing.
Hurk- "Damn i see you forreal lil homie."
Devon- "Yeah Jaden the true."
Hurk- "You with us now we ride for you and you ride for us."
Hurk-*looks at the first guy who name is Zan." "Zan get your bitch ass up."
Devon-*laughs* "Zan, how you let him take you fool?"
Zan- *looks confused* "Y'all shut up."
Hurk- "I know y'all in school so i need that clientele. Lil homie take this shit with you to school. I want you to tell em' it's ten a gram. For the white kids its fifteen a gram. You do that for me I'll have you something nice."
*Jaden's thoughts*
Selling drugs in school is a big risk because once you get caught you get expelled. I didn't want to do it but i thought about my goals and where i want to be. I thought about my daughter and Chelsea. I tell Hurk i can do it even though i was already doubting myself in my mind. Devon has just got expelled the other day for getting caught up. I can't be no pussy though i have a family to feed. With only two months left in school before summer i think i can do it. I get to Peyton's house and Chelsea FaceTime's me. She's going through all of the babies clothes.
Chelsea- "Bae these clothes are so pretty
Jaden- "I'm going to spoil my babygirl all the time."
Chelsea- "I'm thinking about naming her Janiya."
Jaden- "I like that because it starts with a 'J' just like my name."
Chelsea- "Janiya Jaye."
Jaden- "I love it."
Chelsea- *looks close at Jaden* "Bae what happened to your lip?"
Jaden- "Devon and me went fifteen seconds."
Chelsea- "So you let him buss your lip?"
Jaden-"Yea something like that."
Chelsea- "How did you get all this money?"
Jaden- "I told you i saved it up."
Chelsea- "You would have to cut grass all day and night for all of this. Bae what's going on?"
Jaden- "Alright bae don't say anything but I'm on my grind right now. I'm doing what ever it takes for my family."
Chelsea- *gets upset* "Jaden do you know what will happen if you get caught up?"
Jaden-*gets annoyed* "Nothing because I'm not I'm doing whatever it takes for us."
Chelsea- "You don't have to do this bae i don't want you to go down this path. I really hope you're not fooling around with Devon and his brother."
Jaden- "Bae i don't want to talk about this. Change the subject please. How your day been?"
Chelsea- "Jaden this is not you."
Jaden-"Chelsea cool it forreal. I'm not about to do this forever, i promise. Soon as i get right you'll see this is only temporary so just pray for me bae."
