Narrator- Brandon turns his phone back on when he makes it home. He has several missed calls and messages from Princess. Brandon calls Princess and she answers on the first ring.
Princess- "So you didn't see me calling you? Then you turned off your phone? You've been ignoring me for four fucking hours. What the hell were you doing?"
Brandon- "I was with Jaden at the studio and my phone died."
Princess- "You have been acting so weird lately."
Brandon- "How am I acting weird now."
Princess- "You could have told me your phone died. It was definitely ringing when I called you. My messages were delivering at first."
Brandon- "I didn't see it. I was busy talking to Jaden."
Princess -"Bye."
Brandon- "Chill-"
Narrator- Princess hangs up the phone before Brandon can even finish his sentence. Brandon sighs and calls Jada."
Jada- "Hello.."
Brandon- "I was just making sure you made it home safe."
Jada- "Yeah I did. What about you?"
Brandon- "I'm here now thinking."
Jada- "What are you thinking about?"
Brandon- "I really hope I'm not getting on your nerves. I know it was weird for me to pop up on you. I'm sorry I just really wanted to spend time with you."
Jada- "Stop being apologetic. I keep telling you that."
Brandon- "So when can we go on another date?"
Jada- "Oh you think we were on a date?"
Brandon- "Chill it's a joke."
Jada- "Oh too bad I was about to say tomorrow."
Brandon- "Maybe it was some truth in that joke then."
Jada- "No take backs."
Brandon- "Mhmm... I guess I'll see you tomorrow."
Jada- "I didn't agree to anything."
Brandon- "I didn't ask you either."
Jada- "Ok I love the energy but..."
Brandon- "But what?"
Jada- "Why you want to spend all this time with me? You know we're friends. Your girlfriend comes before me. You should take her out on a date."
Brandon- "She doesn't want to go anywhere with me. I'm currently receiving the silent treatment."
Jada- "Oh not again."
Brandon- "Yeah so be ready tomorrow evening. We are going to go somewhere like normal friends do."

Narrator- Jaden goes over to Chelsea's house to see Janiya. When he gets there he notices that Chelsea's car isn't there. He goes to the door and knocks. Ada answers the door.
Jaden-"Hey I came to see Janiya."
Ada- "Hey son, come on in."
Jaden- "Chelsea's gone?"
Ada- "Yeah she'll be back later on."
Jaden- "Is she normally gone without Janiya?"
Ada-"Not all the time but I let her enjoy herself. You both had a baby while still being a baby. I allow both of y'all to still be teenagers. It's hard raising a baby at both of y'all age. Janiya is good. Everything is fine son."
Jaden- "Have you met her new boyfriend?"
Ada- "Yeah... I did. Both of y'all are growing so don't be upset that it didn't work out. Maybe it will in the future. You two still have to be cordial for Janiya no matter what."
Jaden- "She cheated on me with this dude. I don't understand what I did wrong. I have done everything to try to win her back."
Ada- "Leave her alone then honey. She's got to live her own life and make her own decisions."
Jaden-"Why would she give up on her family though?"
Narrator- Ada just stares at Jaden while he starts shaking his head with tears in his eyes. He's filled with frustration and genuinely wants answers from Ada. She walks over to him and gives him a hug.
Ada-"It's going to be ok honey. You're always going to be my son. I'm always going to be here for you. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to call me. I love you son. You don't have to hold back your tears it's ok to cry."
Jaden's thoughts*- I tried to hold my tears back but It hit me that Chelsea no longer cares for me. I never wanted to loose my bond with her. Chelsea's love made me forgot that I didn't have a mother. Now that she's gone I don't have anybody to fill that void. Would I even care about Chelsea if my mom was alive? I probably wouldn't even care that she was with some else. I probably wouldn't even been with her from the start. Sometimes i think having a mother would solve all of my problems. When Ada comes over to comfort me It makes me feel some type of relief. She calls me her son and it feels so amazing. Shakira has never done that. I've never received any type of emotional support from Shakira. I was always told to be strong and toughen up. She'll always tell me that I can't cry because it'll make me weak. She told me that my mom wouldn't want me to cry. Chelsea was the only female in my life who I could open up too. I'm glad that Ada is willing to spread her motherly love to me. I always notice how Shakira treats her biological kids versus me. She's loving to them and she's there for them all
the time. When it comes to me she expects me to be more independent. She doesn't even question me about where I get money from or my whereabouts. As long as she don't hear anything she doesn't ask. Even though I enjoy my freedom sometimes I want her to be concerned or wonder how I'm able to take care of myself. Shakira only checks on me every first of the month. She gives me an allowance and that's it. Shakira has to know I'm doing something illegal but it's like she doesn't care. If Brandon was able to buy his own car she would be going insane until she figured out how. I want to ask Shakira more about my mother. My pride stands in the way of that. I don't feel comfortable opening up to her but I'd like to know where my mom is buried. Why didn't we attend the funeral? Why would my mother want to hide all of this from me?
