O'Sean Sparks- (Jaden's Father) is a peurto rican man who is a big drug dealer and killer. He is sentenced to life in prison. O'Sean was sentenced to prison while Jaden was just ten years old.
April Bryant- (Jaden's mother) is an intelligent college graduate who left Jaden with his godmother while Jaden was just twelve years old. Jaden's mother says the reason why she left was to pursue her dreams of graduating UCLA and becoming a mayor.
Shakira Harris-(Jaden's godmother) a teacher who has two kids of her own.
Brandon Harris- (Shakira's son) Brandon is and is the same age as Jaden. Brandon is just two months older than Jaden. Unlike Jaden, Brandon is researched and an introvert.
Nicole Harris- (shakira's daughter) Nicole is a beautiful girl that is extremely smart. Nicole is very sassy and has an interest in modeling and fashion.
Princess Maintner- Brandon's childhood first love.
Chelsea Chesnut- Chelsea is Jaden's childhood first love.
Peyton Maintner- Helps Shakira raise Jaden and is Princess's dad
