I held my hands tightly in front of my waist as I walked into the main room, skimming my hand over the chairs surrounding the table as Hyde and Irene followed closely behind.

I chuckled lightly at the faint layer of dust surrounding the chair I used to sit in and I blew on it slightly as it flew off in a small cloud. I placed my hands on the back of the seat as I turned to glance at Irene and Hyde, both of them mirroring their hidden anger.

I flicked my fingers lightly as the chair moved back away from the table and I turned sitting down in the chair as I pulled myself in, smoothening down my dress.

I sat there tapping my finger lightly on the table as I heard the others slowly enter the room and walk towards their chairs, their eyes often flickering to look at me as I continued to stare forwards. I looked around as my eyes instantly landed on the seat Bethany used to always sit on.

"Oh come on Lillian, Brand is clearly all over you and I don't think Damien is close behind" Bethany giggled from across the table as I laughed and shushed her,

"Bethany, you know they are in the other room, with their freakishly good hearing" I said as she giggled more, "but not all about me Bethany, how's Hyde hmm" I joked as she blushed,

"I'm so lucky Lillian, he really is lovely and treats me so well. You know that's all I wanted, maybe we will even get married one day, you as well and we can raise our families together" she continued as I held up my hand laughing,

"Gods Bethany, one thing at a time, we have time to plan our whole lives, I promise" I chuckled as she grinned at me.

I clenched my fists as the memory came back to me and I felt a slight flare inside my chest. I growled as I held out my hand power shooting forward and turning the chair to dust as I put my hand back on my lap, lifting my head.

My eyes flickered as I turned to look at Hyde's reaction but as I met his face I saw his face was completely broken and empty, almost as if he now realised he had nothing left. I closed my eyes, taking a deep sigh as everyone sat down, actively choosing to ignore my outburst.

As they eventually all found their seats I heard the door swing open again and heels click on the floor, echoing through the room. I raised my eyebrows and turned as I saw Evelyn walk in rubbing her neck, "How are you feeling? I wasn't going to kill you properly, but I can't pretend it wasn't deserved. After all, it's not like death was permanent for you." I said harshly as her eyes flashed back at me, "I really thought there was hope for you Lillian, I really did." she said as I rolled my eyes leaning back into my chair,

The room fell silent as nobody dared to speak up, just choosing to glance every so often between themselves. If I could feel anything I would assume that it was awkward between us, but all I wanted to do was get what I came for and leave.

"Interesting company you keep these day's Lillian" Brand said lightly as I raised an eyebrow, grabbing a glass. "Is that so?" I said as he turned his gaze to Irene, "I thought time had finally claimed you Irene, I see you are still claiming the colour purple" he said as her face remained emotionless,

"And I see that you are still a manipulator and liar" she shot back calmly as everyone kept quiet,

"Interesting that you finally climbed out of a dark hole somewhere to get involved in this fight" he continued swirling his glass lightly as she shrugged,

"What I choose to do with my time is none of your concern young vampire" she said lightly as I watched them both interact quietly, "Do you really know who your new advisor is Lillian, I mean who she truly is?" Brand questioned as I shrugged,
