Damien thrashed as I felt the air rush out of my lungs at the revelations, everything beginning to make sense. I felt dizzy as I struggled to deal with the overload of information,

Damien had always been stronger than Brand, and Brand always showed an unnatural fear to him.

Of course he had killed his parents, with his powers, I'm sure he wiped the entire populations memories, to suit his purpose.

"YOU BASTARD" Damien yelled, his anger flowing down the bond as I snapped my head up to look at him, tears in my eyes,

"YOU MADE ME BELIEVE I KILLED OUR MOTHER, AND IT WAS YOU!" he cried as I felt his pain as if it was my own, my heart breaking into two.

"YOU RUINED MY LIFE, YOU'VE RUINED IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. I WILL KILL YOU FOR THIS" he screamed as more soldiers ran up, holding his chains back as he pushed forwards, the soldiers unable to hold him back as he pushed forwards in a rage.

They forced him down as Brand laughed walking forwards,

"You will never have the chance brother, I hope you enjoyed your one fuck with Lillian, because you will never be free from chains again, as long as I live" he said as he walked over to me and undid my chains, dragging me to the edge of the clearing by my wrists.

He led me forwards as he threw me to the floor and motioned my mother forwards, who lifted the large box I had seen earlier with her magic.

"Now, begin the process." He said as I shook my head,

"I won't. I can't, I don't even know where to begin" I said as Brand scowled and quickly slapped me across the face, sending me sprawling into the dirt,

"DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH HER" I heard Damien scream out as Brand sighed turning,

"Someone please muzzle him" he dismissed as I saw Damien get dragged away, this time being chained into the floor.

I pushed myself to my feet as I wrapped my power around my hands and held them up,

"What's to stop me from killing you all and leaving?" I said breathing heavily as Brand turned to my mother smiling,

"Open the box" he said as she flicked her fingers,

I braced myself as the door swung open, and green magic flowed out, almost a misty fog that covered the floor in front of it. It crawled out, testing the area as if it was its first time seeing sunlight, the magic flickering under the sun.

I held my breath as I watched both Hyde and Evelyn get dragged beside me,

"I brought along a gift, just for you Lillian. oh and for you Hyde" Brand said chuckling as he grabbed a chain from inside the box, "I'm sure you'll love it" he smirked as I gasped at seeing the figure walk out of the box,

"Bethany?" Hyde gasped as I watched her crawl out and I felt sick.

She was unrecognisable.

Whilst she had the effortless vampiric beauty they all shared, she was bone thin, and covered in dirt. She looked as if someone had dragged her through hell and back, twice.

Her eyes were missing the youthful spark they used to carry, now they looked around soulless and empty, without any hint of the Bethany I used to know.

The wounds on her wrists and body were fresh, with the blood still on her tattered clothes, ones which looked like she had been wearing since she was taken from me,

I rushed forwards as my mother held me back,

"I wouldn't get too close, she hasn't been fed in a few days" she said quietly as I noticed Bethany was sniffing around, her fangs sticking out from under her top lip as I felt a sob rise within me,
