I heard loud screams from below as Diaval opened his mouth, fire raining down upon them as he soared, his wings casting a large shadow across the field.

Soldiers scattered as they tried desperately to avoid the inferno, but it was no use, Diaval's flames engulfed the burnt floor below us.

He glided across above the fight as he soared back up into the air, turning back around. "AGAIN DIAVAL" I commanded as I clutched on for dear life, his wings beating hard as he dived back down, raining fire upon the small figures below.

Diaval soared back up as I assessed the damage, I couldn't stay up here forever. I needed to find Richard.

"SET ME DOWN" I commanded as Diaval roared in response, landing hard on the ground as his mouth opened again, fire pouring from within him as I shielded my face from the heat, screams and cries echoing throughout the now burning wasteland.

He roared as his wings outstretched, flinging soldiers as if they were ragdolls. I lifted my head as I scanned the area, trying to make sense of the fire and fighting.

Diaval swung his tail as he destroyed the ranks, creating a clearing for me as I leapt off,

"GO" I instructed as Diaval bowed in response launching into the air as he opened his mouth, fire raining down in front of me as I looked around,

I saw a discarded sword next to a burnt corpse as I shivered, I needed to stop this slaughter now.

I quickly grabbed it as I pushed through the chaos,

Fire poured down as I tried to sort through the madness, where the fuck was Damien.

I felt someone crash into me as I lifted the sword, sprawling into the dirt. Diaval roared from above sensing me as I slammed into the ground.

I rolled onto my knees, my wings instinctively wrapping around me as I gripped he blade tightly, seeing who had thrown me to the side.

"Richard" I growled as he chuckled, "Mighty fine beast there Lillian, and I must say immortality suits you" he said as I growled, still not used to my new body.

My wings disappeared behind me as I cracked my neck slightly, however as I did I felt my throat grow dry and my hands begin to shake slightly,

Richard must have noticed the change as he stalked forwards, "You are wasting away Lillian, without blood you will return to your lifeless form. I guess they forgot to tell you that part about reanimation" he laughed as my eyesight began to blur slightly and I blinked rapidly, my breathing increasing,

"Lillian, what's going on" I heard Damien frantically say in my head as my knee's buckled and I staggered slightly, "blood" I whispered back as I felt the lump in my throat grow. The blade clattered to the floor as I placed my hand on the floor to balance myself,

I could feel myself shutting down and I knew I didn't have much time, but I couldn't waste an opportunity like this to kill Richard, just needed to push myself a little more, I would be fine.

I took a deep breath as I pushed myself to my feet, picking up the sword, my arms shaking.

I growled as I threw it to the side, shaking my head as I cleared my vision my heart pounding out of my chest.

"Lets end this Richard" I said my voice wavering as he laughed, "Right now you couldn't even run, let along kill me" he mocked as I licked my lips lightly.

As I did I felt my fingertips curl, stretching into claws, the same as Evelyn. I looked down at them in disbelief as I chuckled lightly, my magic may have left me but that didn't mean I had no power left, I just needed to figure out what my gifts were.
