I walked around the room as I refilled my glass, the events of the day running around my head as I hummed lightly to myself.

I chuckled softly as I sat down on the edge of the bed, "As if he would have remembered all of that because he cared. He just wants to get me back, the same as all of them. They want me as a prisoner here, back to do all their bidding, to stop me from overthrowing them. Wouldn't be surprised if that's all what they want from me now" I said quietly, mainly to myself, as I placed the glass down on the side.

I ran my hand slowly through my hair as I lay down on the bed, it was odd, I had never felt like this before.

It was as if so much should be running through my mind but I had nothing, the little voice that often plagued me with its constant chattering was gone. As if I was just sitting in a giant cave, all alone.

As I continued to stare at the ceiling I just felt dark and empty, I didn't even have it in me to remember what it felt like to feel something, to feel anything, even the constant anger or pain of the past few months was like a dull memory, and I couldn't quite touch it.

I bit my lip as I rolled over onto my side and slowly traced the sheets underneath me with my fingers. They felt cool to the touch as I rolled over and lay on my stomach, breathing in deeply, searching for something to fill the empty void within my mind.

"Go away Brand, fuck you, I don't want to talk to you" I yelled as I lay on the bed and looked up at the ceiling, a small tear running down my face,

"Lillian it's me" I heard Damien say quietly as I sat up and wiped my face, trying to hide the tears.

"Fine, come in," I mumbled as the door clicked open and he walked in. "I heard what happened" he said as I rolled my eyes and swung my legs over the side of the bed,

"He's hiding things from you Damien, and he's lying. I didn't make it up, I swear it. It all happened" I said raising my voice slightly with panic and frustration, Damien looked at me leaning against the door frame as he watched me pace around the room,

"Lillian calm down please, your eyes are glowing" he said as he walked over and lifted my chin. I jerked away from his touch as he widened his eyes at me,

"What's wrong?" he said as I turned away, "You don't believe me but last time we got that close it didn't end well, especially for you" I said as I heard him let out a sigh,

"Lillian look at me please" he said as I turned and lifted my eyesight to his face,

He really was gorgeous, sculpted by the gods I'd imagine, or the devil, who's to say.

His hand lifted my chin as I felt my eyesight go slightly red before flickering back, my back slightly arching as I leant into his touch, the warmth of his hand running throughout my body.

He looked down as he watched and smiled at me, my heart fluttering slightly, "You are so beautiful Lillian" he whispered running a finger over my lips, "Where have you been hiding all my life" he muttered under his breath as my heart jumped at his words, his scent engulfing me as I felt my thighs start to clamp, my body instantly reacting to him,

I shook my head and stepped back, catching my breath as I looked down,

"Thank you Damien, but I think you should go, just in case" I said as I walked away towards the bathroom, running my shaking hands through my hair as I slowly lowered my heartbeat, containing the rising desire within me.

I turned back as I went to see him reach for the door, "Damien" I said quietly as he turned to look at me,

"You do believe me don't you? You don't think I'm going insane?" I said as he looked down and back up at me, his gaze penetrating mine as I shivered,
