Olivia runs through the city before her sprints slow down and she starts walking.
Olivia's POV
It took us a long time to get to this place, and we've been through the ringer. Literally and figuratively. From our daughter, this accident that almost killed all of us, a baby, wow, were having a second child and I can't even remember having the first! How does that even work? It wasn't supposed to be like this. I can't even remember falling in love with this man the first time but I'm falling for him a second time. It's what I want right, those three magic words, again,
I love you too. Four words, why couldn't I say it back?! This is all just too much, I didn't mean to run off, it just caught me by surprise, and I froze, completely. What should I do now? Keep walking? Yeah Liv, you need a clear head before speaking to him, yes keep walking.
That's what she does, she walks, and keeps walking without stopping. She walks down this long path in the street, since most of the streetways aren't labeled firmly in London, with the sun shining bright on her back. She stops to catch her breath with another jolt to her stomach, causing her to sit on the bench to the side of her. She inhales and exhales trying to slow her breathing.
"Excuse me miss, miss?" Olivia's eyes shot up to the young British man trying to get her attention.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just trying to catch my breath for a second," The man tilted his head to look down at her.
"Are you sure miss, because don't take this the wrong way, but you don't look okay" Her eyes welled up with tears as she looked up at the man shaking her head playing with her fingers in her lap. The man pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket, handing it to her, and a pencil fell out. He handed the handkerchief to her as she wiped her face. She didn't know why her attention was on that single pencil, but it was, and it stayed there for a while. Wanting to be helpful, she bent down to the side to grab it and with no warning, an flood of memories came into her inner thoughts.
Memory #1
"You can share with me. I'll warn you, my chromosomal DNA knowledge is non-existent at best" Olivia says handing over her pencil to the new student who just walked in, Spencer James.
"I might be able to help with that" he flashed her a boyish grin, an grin she would begin to dream about every night after this one.
Memory #2
Vegas
"I love you.... I ain't even sure when it happened. Maybe it was the night I got shot or, us spending the whole summer together, or maybe it's been since the moment I laid eyes on you at Beverly, and it took me awhile to see it but I know now, I'm in love with you Olivia Baker" Spencer declares before pulling her lips to his, as they kissed passionately in his suite. It took her by surprise, but her heart and mind melted as he lifted her up in his arms.
"Let me show you how much tonight"
Memory #3
"Promise me this will last, that no matter where life takes us, us having each other will always be the most important thing"
"It will Liv. It won't be perfect but it doesn't matter cuz we are perfect for one another and I'm gonna love you for an lifetime, Olivia" Tears spilled out as she grabbed both sides of his face kissing him with all the love and passion she had in her body. They kissed under the night as they commenced finishing their first year of college together and stronger than ever.
