One Month Later

"To the two lovely, engaged couples, Spencer, Olivia, Jordan, and Kia, we wish you peace, prosperity and all the blessings to come as you embark on this new journey together, cheers!"

"Cheers!" The applause came after the ending of Billy's heartfelt speeches to his youngest and oldest adoptive, soon to be son in law. The couples took a sip from their glasses before kissing each other with smiles on their faces. The parentals had decided to stay in town for a little while longer and after Spencer had told them about his plan to propose to Olivia, it ended up being perfect timing, and it also made things easier on the parents because Mina would be going back with them to give Spencer and Olivia space to get used to parenting a newborn after giving birth. Since Spencer and Olivia had decided to have a long engagement as well, Jordan and Kia thought it would be less of a hassle and a great idea to make their separate engagement parties a joint one, luckily neither couple minded this because it was less work.

"You have no idea how happy I am for you guys, all of you actually" Destiny voiced to the two happy couples genuinely.

"Trust me Des, we have an idea" Olivia teases her cousin. Her excitement was appreciated but lately she was going just a little bit overboard with it.

"Or two" Spencer tipped his glass.

"Or three, you've been hounding us about it all week, it's hard to keep count girl" Kia added herself in, patting Destiny on the back as she rolled her eyes at them.

"Whateva, look Imma let you four love birds have your time, I'm gonna grab me another drink"

"Okay, I'll come find you later Des" Olivia says as Destiny smiles walking away from their table. Spencer looked up to see his publicist and brief ex-lover walking towards them. He squeezed Olivia's hand a little more getting her attention as she noticed her presence.

"Don't look so disappointed babe, I thought that you'd want your publicist here to celebrate us" Olivia drank slowly from her glass, full of apple juice while Spencer gave her the crazy eyes.

"You invited her? I-I don't understand Liv, you do realize we used to date?"

"Smashing on occasion for the sake of trying to get over me is not the same thing as dating someone babe, besides that's a distant memory in her mind and we settled things with us long before now, you worry too much" Olivia patted his cheek clearing him, letting his mouth drop as Nicole walked up to their table. Kia and Jordan snickered to themselves hearing how nonchalant Olivia was about the situation now, compared to a few months ago, where she was not so calm about things.

"Well, if it isn't the soon to be newlyweds, congratulations Spencer, Olivia, I was beginning to wonder when you two would get it together"

"It's nice to see you too, Nicole, you remember my best friend Kia, and this is my twin brother Jordan, her fiancé" Nicole turned her attention to them now pulling out her hand for Jordan to shake.

"Hi, Jordan, it's nice to meet you, Kia, all the congrats to you" Nicole affirms to Kia as she nods with a smile.

"Thank you, Nicole, glad you could make it"

"If I get the invite, you best believe I'll be there, but I don't want to crowd ya'll, I'm gonna go mingle" She waved the couples off headed to the table to get a drink, bumping into a Destiny in a very frazzled state talking to someone on the phone.

"I told you to stop trying to contact me, I said everything I needed to say to you last time I seen you, there's nothing else to be said, don't call me again"
