MEETING.

Heads up, Chapter 3 is a long one so not a super quick read.

Taking total creative license with this story. Set at the beginning of season 1 of the Originals, Klaus and Hayley did not meet in Mystic Falls, Klaus broke the curse there and then headed to New Orleans with his hybrid pack on a whim and to get away from Mystic Falls after the death of Finn and Kol, loathing and full of vengeance for the Mystic Falls gang. Klaus felt nothing but contempt for Caroline and her manipulating ways, he compelled Tyler to forget that he was sired by Klaus, and Klaus enacting revenge on the Mystic Falls gang and all the Vampires and Humans of Mystic Falls, were also compelled to forget him and the Mikaelson Family, Elijah had left after strong words, and Rebekah had left to parts unknown.

Coming to New Orleans with the hybrid pack, he had discovered Marcel alive, Klaus had wanted to make New Orleans his home again, after much yelling, screaming and harsh honest words at each other and finally, discussion between the two they decided to co rule, Klaus moved back into the compound Marcel by his side, the compound was no longer used as a gathering spot for the vampires, Marcel had purchased a building nearby for that purpose, the compound was once again a home and headquarters.

Klaus and Marcel had worked together to free Davina from the Harvest, Davina had been scathing of Klaus to begin with, but Marcel had explained his upbringing and Klaus's care of him as a child then adult to her leaving the Rebekah of it all out of the conversation, they enlisted the help of a old powerful family quarter witch whose wife, Eva, had gone crazy with dark magic and killed herself, leaving Vincent wanting absolution and he could not bare the thought of the young witch Davina, being slaughtered for the gain of the Ancestors and the rogue element of witches that backed the harvest, Klaus and Marcel slaughtered all the witches involved with the Harvest and with Davina and Vincent's help they uncovered that Sabine was really Celeste Du Bois, Elijah's old lover, ended her body jumping life and tortured Sabine into the cure for breaking the curse on the Crescent wolf pack, because as much as Klaus didn't care for the pack no wolf should be cursed.

Vincent worked tirelessly on a work around for Davina not to be sacrificed and the spell was achieved, taking the ancestral magic from her body and putting it into the earth of New Orleans for all witches, the Regent of New Orleans, grateful for Vincent's care and dedication to all the witches of New Orleans stepped down as Regent and handed Vincent the mantle.

Davina moved into the compound and Klaus, Marcel and Davina lived as a dysfunctional family should, Davina having met Josh and Cami by this stage and growing close to them practised her magic with Vincent, had girlfriend dates with Cami and Josh, and painting tips from Klaus every now and then, and the co existed agreeably.

Marcel and Klaus invited the Crescent wolves to be part of the faction, and they grumbled and always pushed for more, but generally the supernaturals settled in to an alliance that was working well.
