Klaus saw her staggering through the cemetery and whooshed to her a blank dazed look on her face, he gripped her by the upper arms and she fell against him her head dropping heavily on his chest, he felt her body trembling and then he took a harsh breath in and expelled it furiously. Swinging her into his arms he picked her up and whooshed her from the cemetery back to the compound. Elijah would have to wait.
Klaus lay her on her bed in the compound she looked up at him with confused eyes, "I went to find Elijah I found your Mother.......she did a spell on me.......she......she did this to hurt you she told me......she took my.......vampire away," Klaus sank on the edge of her bed, she looked at him with searching hazel eyes, "Why would that hurt you?"
He looked back at her furious but also troubled, "Because Hayley you are once again mortal, easily killable if this bloody Dahlia character is real and Hope will be......" Hayley gasped.
"Hope is immortal or will be and I will die a mortal's death," Her voice trembled feeling off kilter now her vampire had disappeared, "I feel weak I feel pathetic and useless I am useless against enemies......I will be beholden to the moon again every month," She sat up and gripped his arm looking piercingly into his eyes, "I need to become a hybrid again." Klaus stared back at her. She could see the uncertainty in his eyes, "Say something," She snapped angrily, becoming scared at his quietness.
