CHAPTER ONE.
"Katherine has sent a vampire after me," She told him at the Mystic Falls whatever party they were having, this place was always having one party after another. Klaus looked at the hazel eyed beauty who had done a deal with him for her life by handing over his hybrids that were disloyal to him. Tyler most of all and he had killed the lot of them. Tyler and Caroline fleeing for their lives and disappearing until now coming home in a blaze of congratulations at their impending wedding essentially making sure Klaus couldn't kill his first hybrid or he would have the Mayor and the vampire council after him and his siblings and he knew Elijah would be furious if he started a war here when they had decided to start a war in New Orleans to reclaim their home. And he had his father's pack demanding he be married to take rightful position as Alpha of the North East Atlantic Pack, he looked the little wolf over in her short dress, she was a stunning woman and she was into doing deals with him.
"Come with me love I have a proposition and deal for you," He replied silkily, leading her to his car and Hayley looked at him suspiciously but followed him she couldn't go up against Katherine or whatever vampire she had sent after her.
Hayley sat in his car and turned to him, "Okay Klaus what's your deal?' She demanded impatiently.
"I need you to act as my wife for a few weeks," Hayley's mouth fell open, "I will kill this vampire who Katherine has sent after you, word will filter through you are my wife and no one will dare touch you specially Katerina Petrova and in return you will accompany me to Caroline and Tyler's wedding already as my wife and to a meeting with my pack. I need a wife to take over as their Alpha and you will need to start acting as my wife tonight because all my siblings are at home so you will be introduced as my wife." Hayley listened to him in disbelief the whole time with her mouth open.
"No one would believe we got married."
"People believe what you tell them."
"So we just pretend until after you have your position as Alpha? what will happen after I leave? won't they take it away from you?" She asked.
"We can say we weren't getting on, we married in the heat of desire or some such rot that couples say," Hayley chuckled,
"Why would Caroline and Tyler care if you show up married?"
"It will show them my affection for Caroline was a ruse to use her..."
"Even though she used you more than you used her," Hayley retorted scoffing. He looked at her angrily and said between clenched teeth,
"It will show that I moved on in such a way that I married you, a thousand years alive and have never married yet I chose you to marry and quickly and Tyler cannot gloat about marrying Caroline if I'm married to you and we kept it secret. You were friends before you served his pack up to be slaughtered, he will think you manipulated him all along from the beginning," Klaus explained enjoying this devious manipulation of Tyler and Caroline.
