CHAPTER ONE.

ST Anne's Church New Orleans.

January 4th 2012.

Klaus watched helplessly pinned to the bloody wall by the witches as Hayley screamed giving birth, he was immobile completely useless as they tore their child from her, he screamed and threatened to no avail,

"You have a beautiful baby boy," Genevieve announced wrapping the baby it a cotton blanket and looking at Hayley.

"Can I just hold him....please," A sweat soaked Hayley pleaded and Klaus's heart clenched at the sight of her being held down still by the witches after she had given birth, as the red haired bitch put their Son in her arms, and he watched Hayley look at the innocent face of their child and looked up at him with a smile, their Son they had created together it was a poignant moment for the both of them even in these circumstances and then to his horror Monique slit Hayley's throat, her blood gushing from her sliced open neck and he watched Genevieve take their Son.

"NOOOOOOOooooooooo," Klaus screamed struggling against the magical binds and the witches turned back looked at him and broke his neck.

When Klaus regained consciousness he crawled to Hayley and pulled his weak body up from the floor, the black Kyanite stones still weakening his supernatural abilities and he lifted her from the stone altar and held her, hugging her dead body in his lap tightly on the ground, his mind a daze, his pain making him frozen and uncomprehending, he wept.

2029.

Hope Mikaelson had been swallowed by Malivore, she was in his black abyss of nothingness, she felt nothing and had felt suicidal and removed from her reality since her Mom and Dad died so she really didn't care what Malivore had in mind for her, and she landed with a thud on hard ground and looked around her, 17 year old Hope stood and walked up the stairs of St Anne's Church and seeing the back of her Uncle Elijah followed silently behind him into into the Church, Hope stood in the shadows seeing her Dad on the Church Dias, holding her blood soaked dead Mom, the scent of new birth in the air,

"NIKLAUS," Elijah screamed as he approached Klaus and got down beside him reaching his arms out to take Hayley from him and Klaus looked at his Brother with amber eyes his veins pronounced and a snarl, baring fangs, Elijah jolted back, having never had Niklaus threaten him before in such a way.

"Niklaus," Elijah said gently, softly this time watching his Brother grip tightly to Hayley's body, "The baby Niklaus?" And Klaus now looked at him with blue eyes tears, still shining in them.

"The witches have taken him, they mean to sacrifice him," Klaus snarled suddenly knowing what needs to be done and he carefully picked up Hayley's body and lay her on the Altar.

Hope watching this whooshed away, knowing exactly what was going to happen next. Hope entered LaFayette Cemetery and saw the illusion maze, these witches had constructed and smirked to herself walking through the maze easily, hearing the redhead Genevieve quarreling with the nasty Monique Deveaux in a Crypt close to the Sacrificial altar and Hope calmly walked to them as they stepped out of the Crypt, hearing her Dad and Uncle Elijah enter and their frustration at the maze, specially Uncle Elijah's, yelling at her Dad and losing his cool she sniggered, her Dad was great under pressure he remained calm, poor old Uncle Elijah was losing his shit blaming her Dad for this happening, telling him no wonder her Mom had died because of what he had done. Hope thought that was unfair, Her Dad had fought for her and her Mom as he would of for her Brother and Mom, Elijah was a dick sometimes, Hope thought as she advanced on the witches.
