CHAPTER ONE.
Klaus narrowed his eyes when Sophie Deveraux told him. The witch was telling him, Klaus Mikaelson what he would do for her!
"Kill her and the baby....see if I care," He snarled at the dark haired witch seeing the she wolf's eyes widen and her lips twist in hatred for him.
"Niklaus...." Elijah remonstrated.
"NO KILL THE BABY JUST LET ME LIVE," Hayley screamed out. Klaus halted his step and turned back to look at Hayley at the altar, Sophie staring at the wolf girl in shock.
"What?" Sophie blurted out.
Klaus could feel Elijah tense at his side and in his peripheral he could see Elijah's jaw clamp shut. Klaus was sure he could hear the grinding of his brother's teeth.
"I don't want a baby, so kill it and let me be on my way. I'll leave New Orleans you won't see me again," Hayley begged the witch. Sophie looked at Agnes and the other two witches standing close to Hayley.
"You're linked to Sophie, I kill her you die," Agnes inserted harshly to Hayley making sure she understood the dire situation she was in. Sophie looked at Agnes with a scowl.
"I would be useless to you if I wasn't pregnant and I don't want a baby, so if you let me go I will have a termination. If you don't let me go I will starve myself. I will do everything I can to kill this baby," Hayley threatened. Agnes stared back at the defiant wolf, so much for using the needle of sorrow on the woman, she would want her too just so she could get rid of the child.
"You...you....surely.... you do not want.... your baby dead," Sophie totally flummoxed by Hayley stumbled trying to find words.
"Yes I do, either you kill it here and now or I'm going to terminate it myself." Hayley announced her voice serious and firm, full of hate. Sophie looked at Klaus and Elijah. Elijah stared back speechless. Klaus narrowed his eyes.
"Break the link between you and Hayley Sophie. I can see into this woman's heart she will kill this child, this baby will never greet the world, she cannot be used against the hybrid," Agnes announced walking away. The other witches, knowing Agnes could see death, walked away with her. Sophie shook her head. Walked to the altar and picked up the twined ball of rope she started to chant and the rope ball lifted in the air and started to untangle until it was one long piece of straight rope.
"We are unlinked," Sophie remarked, her voice low scathing avoiding the eyes of Hayley wanting to be away from her. Vile, wanting her own child dead.
Hayley, Elijah and Klaus were the only ones left standing in the silent crypt.
"Is this some sort of plan you cooked up between the pair of you?" Elijah looked at Niklaus. For the witch to see the baby's death surely this was not true. He was desperately hoping Niklaus and the girl had planned this. That his dream of Niklaus finding redemption with this baby was not turning into a nightmare.
