"Xiao- what's wrong-" Aether crosses his arms, the yakasha had been acting off all afternoon.

"Nothing" He hisses, looking away, an angry expression plaguing his face.

Aether huffs, he steps over to where he was standing tapping his foot. "No, something is wrong"

"Go away you incompetent mortal" The adeptus mumurs looking away from Aether.

"No" He huffs, walking over and wrapping his arms around Xiao's waist "What did I do?" He frowned, leaning his head against his shoulder. Despite being upset Xiao does not push him off.

"No comment."

"I'm sorry for whatever I did" Aether hummed apologetically, kissing the other's cheek.

"If you were really sorry you would have kept me company today" Xiao hisses, his face flushed slightly.

Something in Aether's mind clicked, he's jealous. "Is someone jealous?" Aether asks with a small smile.

"I am not a mortal.. but if I must use a word to define this emotion.. I guess it is jealousy" The adeptus murmurs still looking away.

"Xiao I'm sorry I didn't know you felt like this- I would have stayed longer if I had knew" He sticks out his bottom lip in a pout "Don't be mad"

"hmph."

"I'll pay you not to be mad" Aether offers.

"With what" Xiao huffs "I do not desire money- I-"

Aether interrupts him mid-sentence "With love and affection"

"You're sappy...But deal" Xiao rolls his eyes finally glancing at the blond still wrapped tightly around him. His face softened slightly looking at him. Xiao could never stay upset for long.

"Yay!" Aether smiled, pressing another kiss to his cheek. Xiao scoffs, flustered.
