Jealous Aether♡

Xiao gave Ganyu a small bow as she handed him a plate of his favorite food. He granted her a small smile, which was very rare. She smiles in return, making friendly small talk with him. Xiao nods, his expression going back to it's usual serious look.

The two talk for a while, Ganyu doing most of it- Ganyu soon had to go, giving her long time friend a small wave before disappearing off.

Unbenounced to Xiao, Aether had seen the whole ordeal. Despite the fact that Aether knew they were friends it sent a twinge of jealousy through his body. He turns away walking off.

Later that night Aether sits on the balcony of the Wangshu Inn. Xiao appears behind him in a small cloud of smoke.

"Traveler" Xiao greets, walking over. "How was your day?"

The blond huffed, turning his head in the other direction. He still felt a little jealous from what he had seen earlier.

Xiao felt a frown replace his small smile, did he do something wrong? Aether seemed upset.

"Are you okay?" The adeptus asked, confused.

"Fine." The blond murmurs, stubbornly refusing to elaborate.

Xiao thinks over what he had done but comes up with nothing. He sits for a few minutes, frowning, continuing to try and think. He finally sighs.

Reaching a hand over Xiao cupped Aether's cheek, gently making the blond face him "What did I do? You seem angered" The adeptus asks, brows furrowed.

Aether looks away, staying silent for a few moments "I'm not mad.." Aether murmurs finally.

"You aren't? But you.." Xiao did not understand mortal emotions,if he wasn't mad then what was he? Aether shaked his head leaning into Xiao's palm.

"Then what's wrong?" Xiao huffed, confused.

"I.." He looks away again "I know she's just a friend but I saw you talking to Ganyu today and I wanted to be with you and.."

"You're jealous?" Xiao finished for him, "But you know she's just a friend..? Why didn't you just come over and talk with us"

"I know I know, I don't know- I just wanted to go out with you today and then I saw you talking to her so I left" Aether frowned.

"Oh.." Xiao still didn't completely understand but he wrapped his arms around Aether nonetheless, resting his head under Aether's chin.

"Well I'm sorry- please tell me when you're jealous so I can stop you from feeling that way" Xiao frowned.

"Mkay.. I will" Aether sighs, a smile finally appearing on his face. He leaned his head on top of Xiao's, the jealousy disappearing as he hugged closer, wrapping his arms tightly around the other's waist.

"Good," Xiao says, smiling slightly.
