Aether drags Xiao into the kitchen by his arm, quickly pulling Spotify up on his phone. He started to play a slow love song.
"Aether- What are you-" Xiao squeaked.
"May I have this dance?" Aether purred, leaning his head down into a dramatic bow.
"I- it's 12 Am" Xiao argued.
"And? Sometimes you just got to have a midnight dance with the most lovely man in the world" The blond shrugged, grabbing both the boy's hands.
Xiao blushed slightly, looking away in embarrassment. Aether never seemed to fail in flustering him, he was just too good at it.
"C'mon.. Pleeeease"
"mm.. Fine. But I warn you.. I can't dance"
"Neither can I!" Aether laughs pulling Xiao close to him. He takes Xiao's hands, placing them around his neck.
Xiao sighed, rolling his eyes; He leaned forward, resting his cheek against Aether's shoulder.
Aether wrapped his arms around Xiao's hips. He started to softly sway to the music, Xiao following his motion; They stayed like that for a while, letting out a few small giggles as they swayed.
Aether opened his mouth before he was stopped by sharp words.
"Do not start singing." Xiao huffed, looking up, his eyes squinted.
"But why nottt"
"Reason one: because no and reason two: the neighbors are going to wake up if we are any louder- and you know how they get"
"..fine, fine" Aether puffed out his bottom lip looking away.
"You're such a big baby" Xiao cracks a smile, tiptoeing to kiss his nose.
"mm.. Well I'm your baby" Aether says, his pout turning into a little smirk.
"pff.. You're so sappy" Xiao looked away, his face flushed.
"Laughing but not denying it" Aether laughed, leaning down to kiss Xiao's forehead.
"Yeah yeah, whatever" Xiao rolled his eyes, leaning against the blond's shoulder once more.
