"[dead name], why did you call me here" Xiao asked, a stern experssion set on his face. The blond and him had been in a relationship for a while and something important needed to be discussed

"Aether.. Not.. Not [deadname]" The blond mutters nervously, hand shaking as it was removed from Xiao's to rest by Aether's side.

"What..?" Xiao blinked, very confused "I need an explana-" Xiao was cut off by Aether's rambling

"I.. Xiao I'm trans- I prefer the use of he/him.. I'm sorry if this changes everything, I get it if you never want to talk to me again" Aether began to shake more, tears starting to well as he nervously tried to explain himself, "I get if you're disgusted by m-" He was cut off by hand on his face wiping away at his tears which has began to cascade down his soft cheek. Xiao immediately pulled Aether into a tight hug.

"Shut up." Xiao huffed "I'd never leave you for something like that. How could I be disgusted by you.." Xiao hissed,squeezing Aether close. 

Aether was ugly crying, leaving a wet spot where his face was rested against Xiao. 

"Aether, right?"

"Yes.." 

"Pretty, I think it's perfect" Xiao nods, glancing at the blond who was looking at him with watery eyes. Xiao couldn't help but smile at the expression Aether had- A pouty lip with big teary eyes.. It was sweet in a way.

"So you still love me?" Aether sniffled 

"That's a foolish question. Of course I do- You're still the same to me, my Aether. My handsome Aether. And I will do anything to make you feel comfortable with yourself" 

"You're being so cheesy.. That's my job" The blond laughed, gently pushing at Xiao.

"Quiet-" Xiao blushed a little embarassed.

"No it's cute watching you say what you really think" The man mumbles, leaning up to peck Xiao's lips "Thank you.."

"Thank you for what"

"Accepting who I am. Still being my boyfriend" Aether smiled.

"How could I not, you're the love of my life" Xiao mutters, still embarassed.

"aw.." Aether buried his face against Xiao again, smiling to himself.
