Coffee shop♡

//modern au- sorry if it's a little crappy I'm in a patch of writers block right now. I wanna write but I can't think of good ideas.//
"Xiaooo! C'mon let's go!" Aether giggles, dragging him through the streets of [insert big city]. Xiao stumbles along after him. How the heck was he so fast?

"Okay okay I'm coming! Just slow down-!" Xiao huffed, starting to become out of breath. Aether had heard of a new coffee shop and he had begged Xiao to go with him. The boy had reluctantly agreed. Now, he was being basically dragged by Aether.

"We're almost there!" The blond squeals.
Xiao just rolled his eyes trying to keep up with Aether's fast strides.

They finally reach the place. Aether was basically shaking with excitement (Xiao was not sure how good coffee would be for his lover at this time).

Xiao opens the door,holding it open for the blond.
"Thank you, good sir" The blond giggled, skipping through the front door. Xiao follows after him, watching as Aether looks around.
Xiao chuckles as he walks with Aether to the counter.

They both quickly ordered and got their coffees. Aether ecstatically started to drink.
"Maybe wait a second to drink-" Xiao suggested.
"Ow!-" Aether squeaks sticking out his tongue, small tears of pain making his eyes water.

"Told you so~" Xiao smirks, chuckling softly as Aether huffed. The blond held the coffee close to his chest while taking tiny sips.
"Was burning your mouth worth it?"

"Kinda.. It tastes really good" Aether giggled, perking up slightly.

The two find themselves at the table chatting and catching up. They had been quite busy this week with work and just life in general. It was nice having a break.

Xiao smiles while listening to Aether as he ranted passionately about something he enjoyed. He nodded slightly taking a sip of his cooled down coffee. Aether was right, this stuff was amazing.
