Aether feels his stomach twist as he watches Xiao pass by him. He stares down the hall as the boy tries to push through people to get to his locker.

Archons, he was beautiful. Golden eyes, milky soft skin gently dusted with blush, and fluffy hair. He was so-

"Oooo~ Someone has a crush~" Venti giggled beside him, giving him a light elbow in the ribs.

"AH- No! Never!- When did you get here?!" Aether squeaked "You gave me a heart attack". Aether huffs.

"So.. Xiao, right?" Venti wiggles his brows.

"Psh.. Nooo.. Never-"

"mhm.. Well let's just hope Lumine doesn't find out" He teases "He'll be dead in the blink of an eye."

Aether just nods, blushing as he turns to get his books. He sneaks a few glances in the process. Aether ignored as Venti rambles trying to get him to admit his obvious crush.

"Say ittt… say you like him!" Venti smirks, still trying to get it out of him.

"Bye Ventiiii-" Aether says, rolling his eyes as he started to walk towards his next class.

~Xiao POV~

Xiao watches Aether walked into the room. He was adorable with his graceful smile and long blond hair. He wished that he could talk to him but he was almost certain Aether had barely noticed him.

Xiao had liked the blond since last year. He had had a brief conversation with him and had immediately fallen. He knew it was cliche and abrupt but he was just so perfect..

He made eye contact with Aether for a brief moment before quickly averting his gaze. Archons that was embarrassing. How was he gonna make an entire year like this?

"Uhm.. Can I sit here?" A voice asked shyly.

Xiao looked up to see Aether 'oh no.. Gay panic. Breathe Xiao. Breathe'

Xiao silently nods. The blond immediately sits down, risking a fast glance at the boy. Xiao looks down, blushing. He couldn't tell if this was the best day of his life or the worst day of his life.
