"Aetherrrr.." Xiao carefully shook the blond, who was asleep. Aether turned, scrunching up his brow.

"Travelerrrr.. Wake up" Xiao whisper-yelled, hiccupping and slurring his words.

"mm.." The blond slowly opens his eyes. "Xiao?.. What are you doing here?"

"Aeth! You're awakeee" Xiao hugs the blond tightly.

"Woah- Xiao? Wait.. Are you drunk..?"

"Nooo.. I would never" The obviously drunk adeptus squeaks out.

Aether sits up with a small sigh, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"Did you visit Venti again?"

"mm.. Yeahh" Xiao admits, his words slurred. God he was such a lightweight.

"God I'm going to kill that bard once I see him again" Aether sighed with a small smile of disbelief.

"Anyways.. What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to say hi to my loverrr~" Xiao giggled.

Aether blinked. When had Xiao ever giggled? 

"Pff.. I need to get to sleep, my love.. Why don't you stay the night. I don't want you doing anything silly"

"But.." The adeptus frowned, hugging his tired lover.

"C'mon.. I have commissions tomorrow, love" Aether murmurs, kissing Xiao's forehead gently. 

"mm.." Xiao frowned.

"I'll give you extra cuddles and kisses" Aether offered, trying to coax the adeptus further.

 "mm.. Deal" Xiao smiled, his arms wrapped around Aether's middle, scrunching his nightshirt in his hands.

Aether chuckles, laying down on his side, bringing the adeptus down with him. The blond leaned down, peppering soft kisses against Xiao's face. He pecked down his nose, to his jawline, finally leaving a soft kiss on his lips.

Xiao smiles leaning in again for another kiss. Aether sighed, obliging; He gives him another little kiss, it lasts a little longer this time but the two soon let go.

"I love you.." Xiao mumbles (which sounded more like 'I luh chu' considering how much he had drank).

"pff.. I love you too, my sweet Yakasha" Aether chuckles sleepily, pulling the smaller boy close to him. He presses one more kiss to the top of his head.

"I'm glad.. I want to be with you forever" Xiao whispers against the blond making the latter blush. Even though it wasn't good for Xiao to be drunk.. Aether loved hearing what his lover really thought.

"I want to be with you forever too.." Aether smiles, nestling his face into Xiao's fluffy hair.
