//Modern Au where Xiao and Aether are secretly dating. Everyone thinks they are close friends but in actuality they've been dating for a few months//

"If Lumine finds out she will be pissed-" Aether mutters, sitting cross legged on his bed, looking down at his boyfriend (who was scrolling through his phone).

Xiao was visiting his house after school and they were just chatting. Aether's sister had a council meeting she had to attend after school so she couldn't walk home with the two that day, which made Aether happy because it gave him a chance to hold Xiao's hand.

"She will.." Upon seeing Aether's worried expression he quickly adds "But we'll find a good time to tell her, don't worry"

Aether nods, leaning over and wrapping his arms around Xiao. Xiao lets outs a small huff, placing his phone down to hug Aether.

"Say you love meeee" Aether says looking up at Xiao with puppy eyes.

The boy pauses for a moment deciding whether he should say it or not "I love you,"

"I love you too-" Aether giggles sitting up slightly to capture Xiao's lips with his own. Xiao wrapped his arms around Aether's neck, kissing back, his cheeks dusted with pink blush. They kissed for a while, getting caught up in the moment. Hands were in hair, arms and legs were tangled, and lips were pressed roughly against lips.

They were too busy to notice Aether's sister coming home. She walks around looking for her brother. She gently knocks on his bedroom door but he doesn't answer. She knows he's in there because she hears movement.

She gently pushed open the door peeking inside to see Xiao and Aether tangled in each other's arms, kissing. She blinks before crossing her arms. After a moment of waiting she clears her throat.

The two jumped, pulling apart to look at the intruder. Her brother looked at her wide eyed and quickly stuttered out a failed attempt at an excuse.

"I'm literally going to murder both of you! How dare you not tell your own sister you had a boyfriend, and how dare you think you are good enough for my brother!" Lumine screeched, stomping towards the bed.

Aether mutters "Run," before darting off the bed, past Lumine, out the door. Before leaving, he punches Lumine's shoulder (The sibling intinct was too strong).

The blond girl runs after her brother, leaving Xiao to sit in shock. He knew he would be the next one chased but he didn't care at the moment. He was too busy being flustered. He groaned, falling back onto the bed and burying his face into Aether's pillows.

He silently listens to the two chasing each other around, Lumine yelling at Aether as he runs through the halls.
