It was a normal day at home, Xiao sat in his gaming chair playing a game with some of his friends. The boy huffs quietly, eye twitching as his team mates messed up his game on purpose. They loved to piss him off on purpose.

"You guys are literally the worst" He mutters, aggressively mashing buttons on his controller as he tries to regain composure.

He had been there for hours playing with his friends as they tried to prepare for one of the main bosses. It had been gaming non-stop for at least 6 hours.

Aether peeks in for the hundredth time today to see if his lover had finished. Unfortunately for him he wasn't even close. He frowned, the boy had told him he would cuddle after he finished but he had a sinking feeling he wasn't even close to being done.

The blond glides over standing beside him. It takes a few minutes for his lover to notice as he was busy fighting something. When he finally notices him he gives him a small smile before returning his gaze to the computer screen

"Hey Aether," Xiao says, his eyes still averted.

"You said you'd cuddle when you're done-" Aether frowns

"Oh shit, wait" in truth Xiao had completely forgotten about his promise- he felt horrible
Xiao mutters something like be right back into his mic before quickly muting. He slips off his headphones, putting the remote down.

Xiao averts his eyes, opening his arms up for the other to climb into.
Aether puts on a soft pout glancing at Xiao's pink face.

"Come here, I'm sorry- I'll give you cuddles right now. And then we can both be happy." Xiao apologizes with a small frown.

Aether doesn't hesitate after the apology, Climbing into Xiao's lap and wrapping his legs around his waist. He presses his face into his shoulder. He could never resist the other's big puppy eyes.

His lover smiles, kissing his cheek before putting his headphones on and snatching his remote. Aether smiled burying his face deeper.

"I'm back, I may leave soon though so me and my boyfriend can cuddle." Xiao hummed, his tone a lot softer than earlier.

Aether giggles as he hears soft complaints and 'ews' come from Xiao's headphones.

"You guys are just jealous you don't have an awesome boyfriend" Xiao chuckles "Oh hush, we can play later" he speaks to the voices on the other end.

Aether smiles softly, bunching up the back of Xiao's shirt into his fists, pulling himself close. He clings onto his lover, listening to him babble into his mic.

He closes his eyes, grinning and he feels the occasional kiss being pressed into his head when Xiao had a small break in the game.
