Aether gasps falling to the ground, he felt blood slowly seeping from his neck. It burned, so hot he felt like he was going to pass out. He screamed out, writhing in pain. He squeezed his eyes shut laying on the ground.

A few minutes before the boy had been attacked. The stranger had bitten him and had left him.

His boyfriend had ran after the guy, but soon returned empty handed. Xiao suddenly rushed over to Aether kneeling down next to him, his eyes wide.

The last thing the blond could remember before passing out was his boyfriend calling out his name, asking if he was alright.

☆━━A few days later━━☆

Aether gasps sitting up and looking around the room. He felt replenished but very hungry. He coughed shakily getting up. He walks out of the bedroom seeing Xiao sitting on the couch.

"You're awake-" Xiao says, glancing up.

Aether felt a strong urge to pounce. He shook slightly trying to contain the carnivorous urge running through his body. What the fuck was happening to him.

"Are you alright?" Xiao says taking on a worried look "You're shaki-"

Aether runs across the room, at lightning speed pouncing on top of Xiao, pinning him down. Xiao tries pushing him off but finds that Aether had seemingly become much stronger

"Aether, get off!" Xiao hissed squirming around. He looks into Aether's eyes. "What the fuck.." Bright crimson red unlike his usual golden eyes.

Aether lowered himself trying to bite, small fangs showing, but Xiao managed to get a hand free and pushed Aether's face away, snapping him out of the trance. Aether's eyes returned to their normal color and immediately brimmed with tears.

"Xiao I'm sorry! Something made- I didn't- I'm sorry" He hiccups, tears streaming off his face. Aether collapsed into Xiao, disgusted with himself. What had gotten into him?

Xiao hesitantly wrapped his arms around Aether, pulling him closer. "You have fangs.." Xiao blinks,  "your eyes were red-".." He whispers.

"What-" Aether says wiping at his face. He brings a finger to his mouth and suddenly feels a sharp tooth prick his finger "Ow-"

"What was that? Why did you-"

"I told you I don't know!- I woke up and felt really hungry so I was going to check on you and get some food- but then I felt this urge and.. I wasn't me- I-" He felt tears start to swell in his eyes again.

Xiao reaches up, wiping his tears, both shocked and intrigued by what his lover had told him. He furrows his brow trying to come up with a logical reason behind what had happened but he really couldn't think straight after that.

"You're still scared-" Aether frowns

"What? No I'm not-"

"You're heart is racing, I can hear it"

"What?-" Even Xiao couldn't hear it, although Aether wasn't wrong. It was aggressively pounding against his chest.

Aether slid off of Xiao, onto the floor. He rests his cheek against the side of the couch looking up at Xiao with a frown. He felt horrible for what he had done. What was wrong with him..
