Aether walked into the Angel's share looking for Xiao. He had taken the Adeptus to Mondstadt to meet his good friend Venti, who Xiao apparently had history with.

Xiao didn't mind seeing his old friend, plus Aether was dying to show Xiao Mondstadt. The traveler had decided to leave Xiao in the Angel's share for a few hours to allow him to catch up with the bard. Bad idea.

The blond looks around, seeing Venti and Xiao in the corner. He walked over gently tapping his lover on the shoulder.

"We should get going"

The adeptus turned around his cheeks flushed pink, and a small frown set on his soft face. Why did Xiao look like that? He glanced at Venti; he was giving him the same pouty look that Xiao had.

"YOU GOT HIM DRUNK?!"

"He only had a littleeee" Venti says trying to defend himself. Well Xiao was obviously a light drinker because he was nuzzled up against Aether, kissing his cheek, and distractedly playing with the blond's braid.

"Well obviously he doesn't handle alcohol well. now I have to deal with this.." Aether huffed, feeling Xiao lean himself on his lover, trying to tiptoe to give him more kisses. Aether leaned down giving him a kiss on the forehead before returning to Venti.

"I'm sorry Aether, nothing I can do though" Venti giggles cheekily, watching the very drunk Xiao as he leans against Aether.

"We're leaving.." Aether grumbles, grabbing Xiao's hand and leading him out.

"Wait don't leav-" Venti was cut off by the door shutting behind the blond.

"Awe, I was having funnn" Xiao frowns, slurring his words together "Can't I have a few more drinks with him?" he stumbles as he says this.

"Yeah.. No" Aether sighed, watching as Xiao tripped again. He leans over carefully lifting the adeptus.

"Awww- Aether 'hicc', pleeeease"

"No, we are going somewhere to rest."

Aether teleported the two into his tea pot, carrying Xiao over to the bed. Xiao clung onto Aether like a koala refusing to let go.

"Traveler. Don't leave me" He hiccups, clinging tightly to him. Aether couldn't help but wonder if this is what Xiao actually thought on the inside, knowing he was only saying this aloud because he was very drunk.

"Fine fine, but no funny business.." He lays down, Xiao still pressed against him. The blond sighed softly, feeling Xiao nuzzle against him, squirming to get comfortable.

Aether leaned down pressing a kiss against his forehead. He ran his fingers through Xiao's fluffy hair, trying to coax the drunk man asleep.

"I love youuuu" Xiao giggled, into the other's chest.

"pff.. I love you too. Now please, go to bed" Aether shakes his head lightly, a small smile gracing his face.

"Fine" Xiao mumbles, pulling himself even closer, his legs wrapping around the other in an attempt to keep himself pulled close. The drunk Adeptus slowly but surely fell asleep, leaving Aether in his thoughts before he too went to sleep.
