Kissing Away Tears♡

Aether felt warm tears fall against his cheeks, he looked down at his hands which he soon realized were shaking.

Aether takes a shaky breath trying to rid his mind of thoughts of his sister and the abyss.. And.. Great the thought had once again intruded into his mind.

The blond wiped his eyes with a hand, his lip quivering. He wished this world could just be nice to him.. He just wanted his sister back, to go home. He wanted to be happy.

"Traveler..?" a voice called, snapping him out of his thoughts. He whipped his head around to see Xiao.

Xiao walked over, sitting down beside him. Aether stayed silent. The adeptus let out a soft sigh, glancing at him again.

"Come here.." Xiao murmurs, opening his arms slightly. He hated to see Aether like this.

Aether crawled into the other's arms resting his face on his chest. His body shook with silent sobs, as he buried his face against Xiao's chest.

Xiao was silent, he awkwardly rubbed circles into his back. After a few moments he feels himself frowning. He uses his hands to cup both of his lover's cheeks, gently lifting his chin to stare at him.

Aether looks up at him bleary-eyed, his eyes puffy with tears. Xiao wipes a tear with his finger, knitting his eyebrows together.

Aether leaned instinctively to the touch letting out a soft sigh. Xiao leans down gently kissing his cheek, kissing away another tear. He began kissing all over before finally landing on his lips.

"It'll be okay" Xiao murmurs against his lips.

Aether kisses him, letting out a soft sigh. Xiao always knew the right things to do to make him feel better. Aether pulled away leaning his face back against him.

"I love you Xiao"
