Siyeon couldn't make this decision on her own and Mira didn't have time to talk to her. Luckily, she was able to get ahold of Yoohyeon as it was the end of the week. Hopefully, she would have good advice for something as big as this offer.

"Hey! I can't wait until you come back! I've been counting down the days. I miss you."

"I do too, but I need your help on something."

"What do you need? I can help you with it once you get back."

"That's the thing. I need your advice. I got offered a new position at the manor. I'd be his personal assistant. It does pay more, but I don't know if I can handle the rest of the staff."

Yoohyeon thought about the situation her friend was in. She understood that she didn't want to deal with those awful maids that Siyeon kept rightfully complaining about, but this was the best opportunity she could take. She understood why Siyeon came to her for advice. It was a tough decision. Financial health vs. mental health. They go hand in hand sometimes, especially in Siyeon's situation in the manor and out. It's just that with whatever option she goes with, one of them will suffer. Yoohyeon wanted to give her opinion on which of the two mattered more, while still giving her friend the freedom to chose whatever she thought would be best for her. "Siyeon, I don't want you to take a job that's gonna affect you mentally, no matter how good the offer may sound. It's not worth your mental health. If you think it's too much to handle, refuse it. If you can actually handle it, take the job."

Yoohyeon's response got Siyeon thinking. "Maybe it'll be fine. Yeah, I think I could do it. They never really fully get to me before. But this new position would make things different. I was just a newbie worker before. If I take the job, there'll be more attention on me since I'll be ranked higher in their eyes. That's the new problem I have to possibly deal with. I have to think more about that part of it." Siyeon paused for a second. "I'll figure it out. Thanks, Yoohyeon. I'll take what you said into account. I'll let you know what I decide tomorrow after I meet with Mr. Park. I'll call you later."

"See ya! Good Luck!" After they both hung up, Siyeon plopped herself on the bed. She had a lot to think about still, but the discussion with Yoohyeon made that decision a little easier. Now she had to weigh the pros and cons before she can get to a decision she wouldn't regret.

After thinking it over a bit more the next day, she headed to his office. She was able to come up with a decision. She thought long and hard about it, but she was able to come up with an answer for him. With a deep breath, she knocked on the door.

"Come in." He looked up at his visitor. "Siyeon! Have you come to a decision?"

"I did. I'm going to take the job."

"Excellent! Are you ready to start right away?"

"Sure. What do you need?"

"Well, for now, you can just get me a coffee. I'll give you more instructions when you come back."

"Yes Sir." She walked out of the room, glad that she chose what she thought was best. Thinking about it, this would be the best opportunity for her. She could handle a few awful people if it meant that she can get to her goal as fast as possible. Once she was in a safe position, she can leave the place and never step foot there ever again. Maybe if she did really well, Mr. Park could even give recommendations to other workplaces to accept her if she decided to do so. She feels that he understands that he can't have her be his assistant forever, so maybe doing this could be his thanks to her. Siyeon's imagination was running wild on the possible new opportunities that could open up for her after accepting this job. For once, in a great while, she thought she had a bright future to look forward to. Something herself from a year ago wouldn't even believe. "Let's not think that far ahead yet. I just started. Let's see how this goes."  She started to bring herself back to reality, but still kept the optimistic future in mind.
