Feeling a bit of deja vu, Siyeon stood yet again with her singular suitcase moving into a new place. In this instance, though, she was at the front of the black decorative gates of the huge and beautiful manor. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. Who wouldn't be in her situation? In the end, after her phone call with Yoohyeon, she thought that this would be the best option for her to take. She took a deep breath before she pressed the button on the intercom to call the house. "Hello? I don't know how this kind of thing works. Um, I was told to come here to work for the owner."

"You must be the new girl. Stay there until the security guards arrive." She heard a female voice come out of the speaker nearby.

"Guards?! Why? You knew I was coming. I'm sure the owner knows I won't do anything to him. You can ask him! I have a debt to pay off."

"Which is exactly why I'm doing this. We don't know much about you or if you're actually the girl the master told us about yesterday. You could be robbing us for who knows. This is just a security measure. We want to make sure we can trust you. Just be aware, if you're not who you say you are, consequences will follow. Now's your chance to leave if that's the case."

"No, I'll wait here. I'm the right person."

It took about ten minutes of Siyeon nervously fidgeting her fingers before two guards approached the gate. She spaced out for that entire time. She didn't even notice that they were there until one of the guards talked through his radio. "We're at the gate. She's still here. You can let her through." He took his hand off the radio and looked Siyeon's way. "Follow us, ma'am. Don't pull anything suspicious on the way. We know how to deal with people like that." After he said that, Siyeon heard a loud buzz, assuming that was the gate opening.

"Understood. There's nothing for you to worry about." Siyeon tried to smile at the man to reassure him, but there he stood with the same serious look on his face before he turned around to guide her to the mansion. There was still quite a walk until they get to the manor and the silence was getting too awkward to handle. Siyeon tried to start a conversation to get rid of this situation as well as figure out what she's gotten herself into. "So, what's the owner like? I only know a tiny bit from the cafe. Does he treat you well?"

"I won't get into much detail since we don't know if we trust you yet. Let's just say, it's beneficial if you stay loyal."

"Good to know." And it was back to the awkward silence. Siyeon knew that they weren't going to say anything else, so she had to deal with it until they reached the mansion.

The three of them walked inside. They stood at the entryway covered in white marble. Standing in that entryway made her feel like she was standing in an ancient Greek temple. Whoever this was, he was far richer than Siyeon had originally thought. It made her wonder why a man like him would ever go to a small coffee shop when he had the best services at his disposal. "Is the master home?" The guard that talked to her asked one of the maids.

"He is. He's in a meeting right now in his study. He'll be here when he's done."

"He knows I'm here?"

"He does. You were lucky to show up here before his meeting started. You would've waited longer if you came any later." The maid politely smiled back at her. "I have to ask you to wait here until then."

"No problem. I can do that." The maid bowed politely in response and left to her duties. "Great! Back to the awkward silence. My favorite. I hope this doesn't take too long."

The short wait felt agonizingly long. Soon enough she started hearing footsteps coming down the winding staircase. "Ms. Lee. It's nice to see you. Or do you prefer being called Siyeon?" The man was surprisingly polite. Not only that, he managed to figure out her name.
