KAITLIN'S P.O.V

I get home and can't seem to find Chloe anywhere I texted Sam and he said he saw Chloe leaving with Momo.

"Great just FUCKING GREAT!" I yell grabbing my keys and leaving the house.

I knock on the door and Momo opens it.

"Oh, hi this is rare to see you here, you said my house makes the rest of the kids in the school feel inferior... you most of all." She said.

"Yah, Sam said he saw Chloe leave with you, is she here I need to talk to her, it's important."

"Ya, sure... Hey Chloe your sis is here she said she needed to talk to you." Momo said stepping aside as Chloe appeared.

"Hi, I need to talk to you about..." I begin but am cut off.

"Ya well, I don't want to talk to you." She says as she closes the door.

What the... the hells going on with her.

I get home and I hear tools hitting wood and metal I follow the sound to my room to see my parents building two beds.

"Oh, hello dear come help us we need someone to hand us the next item on the list." My mum said as she saw me in the doorway.

"Where is your sister?" Phil asked.

"At a friends," I said picking up the instructions.

I sit at the dining room table headphones on daydreaming, I look at the clock and see that if Chloe doesn't move it, she'll be late for dinner. The door then opens and Chloe emerges in the hallway, she looks at me and I point to our room.

"There's a surprise for you in there," I say.

She makes her way to our room puts her hand on the handle and stops.

"What is it?" She asks.

"Why would I tell you the whole point of a surprise is that you don't know," I say laying my head on the table.

"Tired?" Chloe asks.

"Bored," I reply.

I close my eyes and fall asleep, only to wake up an hour later to the sounds of a frying pan sizzling, I yawn and stretch my arms. I turn to the sound and see Chloe cooking what looks like stir-fry, another half an hour later and she has set down two plates and cutlery in front of me and her.

"So what was with you...previously? You can't get enough of me which isn't a bad thing, just when you suddenly turn me down it was weird." I said.

Chloe looks to the side, sad and guilty of something.

"Did I do something to anger you?" Chloe asks.

"What, no I just want to know you why you've been so...distant," I said.

"Back at school today I heard you talking about me and some plan," Chloe says begging to eat her food.

"Oh, you mean our talk in the club room at lunch," I said.

"It had nothing to do with you I promise 100%," I said.

"You said feelings...for you." She snapped back.

"And you are not the only girl in the school who has feelings for me," I say.

"I may not have dated guys, but I did date girls before I met you," I say crossing my arms and leaning back.

"So, this all about another girl that you dated in the past," Chloe said.

"Yep, it's about...Momo," I say sighing and looking down.

"Momo, but she's your friend," Chloe says uncertainly.

"Yes, but now I think she has got it into her head that she can get away with anything," I say.

"What does that mean?" Chloe asked.

"Before Momo was the queen of the school's underworld I was the queen, ran everything from grades to timetables. But now I think Momo is using her power to change that and tear down what I built." I say.

"And I think she hit the club room," I add.

Chloe looks at me and I can see that she is having a hard time processing all of this and wondering where that leaves us. I walk up to her wrap my arms around her pull her close and whisper in her ear, "I love you and nothing will change that." She starts to cry and hugs me back as she cries in my arms.

The Next Day

"You have a plan, right? I mean your goal is to take down the queen of the school's underworld she is well in control of the school." Sam says as we walk to school.

"I always have a plan," I say.

"We are so dead," Sam says with disappointment.

"What do you mean we're dead?" I ask.

"The only time you say that you always have a plan is when you don't have a plan," Sam says angrily.

I turn and walk backwards and point at Chloe and say.

"Don't forget what I told you, the whole plan hinges on you and how well you are able to talk to her," I say in a serious tone.

"What plan is that again?" Sam asks.

"The best plan I've ever had," I say turning back around.

"I've heard that before," Sam says.

"Oh, and one more thing no one goes to the club room today, got it," I say pointing at them.

Sam and Bec suddenly stand at attention hands to foreheads.

"Don't act like a military group," I say back making Chloe laugh.

Me and Chloe get to our first class and Chloe takes the seat next to Momo and it looks like she said something that made Chloe slightly uncomfortable. Momo then laughs at her and Chloe relaxes, they then talk a little all through class. That's it Chloe get all the info you can. The bell goes off and me and Chloe quickly lose Momo and then follow her to the club room. We peek through the door window and watch her, we wait for her to do something but nothing happens. All that and she just sits there, she is so up to something.

"So, we are waiting for what exactly?" Chloe asks.

"Anything we can use to link her to the crime," I say.

"And if we don't find anything here?" Chloe asked.

"Plan B is you go to her house and see what you can dig up," I say.

"By the way, I think that the suspected vandal may be trying to get close to you," Chloe says making me think.

"That makes sense considering what they said and the way it was worded, but Momo has never hit me as the possessive lover type." What's going on?

"So, is she no longer a suspect?" Chloe asks.

"No, I had my eye on her for a long time, but the attack on the club room is what made me think I should do something about it," I say.

"I see so you needed an excuse to investigate her," Chloe said.

Bingo.
