CHLOE'S P.O.V

We sit in the hospital waiting room with me still working through the traumatising event of 12 hours ago I put my head on Kaitlin's shoulder and she starts stroking my hair as we wait to hear the results.

"So what do you think happened?" Sam said.

No one answered and I could tell why I didn't want anyone to speak but I guess I was glad that someone broke the painful silence it was getting unbearable I hate those kinds of situations. I get up and pull Kaitlin off to the cafeteria.

"You know we have to tell mum where we are right I mean she has a right to know she is our mum," I said.

"There's a reason I haven't told her," Kaitlin said.

"Because she will come and drag us home, I know but we need to let her know plus there is a small chance that with everything that has happened she may not force us to leave," I said.

"Ya well we're not telling her until Bary wakes up that should take top priority," Kaitlin said as she walked back to the others.

Later a doctor tells us that Bary will make it but we can't see him until tomorrow he also gives us a bag of everything that Bary had on him and me and Kaitlin tack it home for him. We take things out of the bag and lay them on the table for Bary and then a letter is all that is left Kaitlin looks at it and opens it she then turns it to me and it reads in red like it was written in blood WE WARNED YOU.

SAM'S P.O.V

I sit in my room on my phone watching some old videos of my dad until Sammy came in.

"Hey did you hear?" He said.

"Nope," I said closing my phone.

"Turns out we have a stepsister as well," Sammy said.

"Is that so?" I said.

"Ya the reason we never met her is because she is older than us and is in college but our step mum and dad aren't on the best of terms which is why they didn't inform us of her existence," Sammy said.

"Hey guys she is about ten minutes away," Logan said as he came in still looking at his handheld.

"Any advice for us?" I said.

"Ya whatever you do don't mention Game of Thrones... kidding," Logan said.

Ten minutes later there is a knock on the door and some hush chatter before...

"Hello, Sam and Sammy your new stepsister is here" Siad a voice from outside.

"Well, I'ma go say hello you can sit here and mope a bit more of you like," Sammy said.

I see Sammy leave and then I sigh and get up I shove my hands in my pockets and take a look round the corner of my bedroom door not letting myself be seen by Sammy or my new stepsister. I see a glamorously dressed I guess she is a woman after all standing in the centre of the house she sees Sammy and smiles at him in a way that I can tell means she thinks he is good looking. Not that he would ever notice. They talk for about 3 minutes and then she looks around for me I take another sigh and step out into view.

"Well look who decided to show themselves," Sammy said.

"Ya ya whatever," I said in an indifferent tone.

"Hiya well well you tow certainly grow up in all the right places no doubt about that hi my name is Zoey," She said with a bright smile.

"Sup," I said with the same indifferent tone as before.

"So what do you study in college?" Sammy said.

"Oh, I am going for a four years master's in animation," Zoey said grabbing my attention.

"Oh cool, Sam is into that too," Sammy said.

"Is that so?" Zoey said turning to look at me.

"Ya," I said turning to the side.

"Well then you should see my latest creation," Zoey said as she reached into her bag and pulled out a tablet.

She powered up the tablet and then after a number of taps on the screen she turned it around and gestured me closer I let out a quiet sigh and walked over to her. She taps the play button on the screen and a small group of characters begin a fight with a sample of weapons it is good very good.

"Nice job you certainly chose the right subject to master in," I said.

"Thanks, I think so too," Zoey said.

"Now where has that idiot of a younger brother run off to we have a game to finish," Zoey said looking around.

"What kind of game?" I asked.

"Well it's more of a competition we are both members of a voting website every month someone will post something and others will post their own version of the same thing with the only rule being it hast o be drawn and well people vote for the one they think is the best and our bet is whoever got more hits owes the other £40," Zoey said.

"So now you want to find out which one of you two won," Sammy said.

"Precisely," Zoey said.

"Neither of the two of us got into the top three so we got to compare our profiles to see who got more" Logan said holding his phone up as if to say let's do this.

"So he finally shows himself," Zoey said.

"And I'm guessing that the up and coming editor thinks she will win no problem," I said.

"Something like that" Zoey said.

They both open their respected devices and log on to a website that I recognise.

"Oh chose your champion.com," I said.

"You know it," Zoey said with excitement.

"We're both members as well," I said.

"Oh cool we should collab some time," Zoey said.

"And I have 254 hits read em and weep," Logan said holding up his phone to reveal a drawing of a suit of armour.

"Well, this is embarrassing..." Zoey said.

"Don't feel bad maybe animating wasn't your thing after all?" Logan said.

"Oh no, I ment the difference in hits," Zoey said as she showed Logan her phone to reveal 867 hits.

"Mind if I way in on this contest," I said.

"You submitted an entry," Zoey said.

"Yep," I said.

"Hmmm, why not just means more money for the winner," Logan said.

I pull out my phone and log in I find my entry I turn my entry around and show them.

"I I I don't believe it you won," Logan said.

"Well I can say you have some great talent," Zoey said.
