Cutting loose

CHLOE'S P.O.V

Kaitlin and Momo lead us to a long bridge and then under it, they stopped and Kaitlin pointed to a rock that was quite a jump away.

"How many of you think you can make that jump?" Kaitlin said with a smile.

"I'm sure I could it's just I don't want to try," Sam said.

"Then go home," Kaitlin said before jumping all the way to the other rock.

All of us apart from Momo who was expecting it looked on in astonishment at what Kaitlin had just done.

"We had to find a place that adults and parents alike wouldn't find on accident and yes Sammy this is the best we could come up with," Momo said stepping forward before she jumped landing at Kaitlin's side.

I push past Sam and his bother run to the edge of the rock and jump a land just on the edge before Kaitlin pulls me in close for a hug before I turn to the others.

"It's not as hard as it looks," I said with a smile as my breathing returned to a normal speed.

"You sure we can make it?" Sam asked as he put his arm over Bec's shoulders.

"You'd make it if you were 6 pounds heavier and 3 inches shorter," I said with a smirk.

"Alright alright me next," Sammy said taking a few steps back.

Sammy then begins his run and moves to the edge of the rock jumps and lands directly in front of us Sam and Bec then jump and then Kaitlin removes the hanging moss to reveal a pipe that leads into a bunker of sorts. We all walk into the bunker and look around there are chairs a large coffee table and a single mattress without a sheet on a frame we all find a seat with me sitting on the bed and Kalilin next to me. The whole place is surprisingly clean and the walls are pantied in such a way that the few lanterns hanging from the walls fully illuminate the entire bunker with a warm glow.

"And here we are," Momo said as she put two boxes down on the table the first one has no lid so I can see the beer bottles.

"Here," Kaitlin said grabbing one and handing it to me.

"Uh thanks, I think," I said taking it from her slowly.

Momo gives a bottle to the others then bends my bottle to her and pops the top off I look at it and then I see that the others apart from Kaitlin and Momo are just as unsure as me.

"Fuck it," I said with a sigh before taking three large gulps of beer from the bottle.

"Well look whos going first," Kaitlin said.

A few minutes later and the others had also begun to make their way through their drinks 30 minutes and we were all on our second beer I could get used to cutting loose if this is what it feels like.

"Hey let's play a game," Kaitlin said.

"Oh yeah, what kind?" Be said.

"Well since we have some let's play a drinking game," Kaitlin said as she brought out some whisky and some shot glasses.

"How does it work?" I ask.

"I'm glad you asked well it's called two truths and a lie this is how it goes we will go round the circle and take turns telling each other two truths and one lie the others will then try and figure out which is which and those get it right we don't drink the ones who are wrong will drink," Kaitlin said as she set shot glasses in front of everyone on the coffee table with the whisky in the middle.

"Sounds like my kind of game," Sammy said as he poured himself a glass.

"Why is that?" I asked.

"Well it's all about judging character right and well my brother can attest that I have a knack for that kind of thing," Sammy said looking at his brother.

"...Yeah, he's good," Sam said and finished his beer when he saw all of us looking at him waiting for confirmation.

"Well, then I'm in because I wanna see you prove it," I said also finishing my beer before pouring myself a glass of whisky.

"Fair enough," Sammy said leaning back.

The others then decided to go along and pour them selfs all a shot of whisky and prepare for a game.

"So who wants to go first?" Kaitlin said.

"Yo," Sam said raising his hand.

"Alright stage is yours," Kaitlin said.

"Well first I have never played an assassin's creed game second I am allergic to cats and third I brock my hand against someone's face," Sam said.

"Why from cats to broken hands," I said.

"Well I am gonna say that you haven't brock your hand against someone's face, not to say that you couldn't I just don't think you have," Kaitlin said looking at me.

"No I don't think your allergic to cats I call lie on that," I said.

"Cat," Momo said.

"Hand" Bec said.

"I know you broke your wrist but not your hand so that," Sammy said.

"All those who said cat you are wrong drink," Sam said.

"Really when did you break your hand," Kaitlin said.

"Sometime last summer" Sam said proudly.

The game continues until it is my turn.

"Let's see I guess first off is that Kaitlin is the first relationship I have had second at my old school I was very popular with the opposite sex and finally I am a huge anime fan," I said.

"Anime fan," Said Sam, Momo, Bec and Sammy all in unison and almost immediately after.

"Hey," I said.

"Your popularity with the opposite sex," Said Kaitlin.

"Your all wrong this is not my first relationship," I said.

"Ok you and I are gonna have a talk later but for now Sammy back to you," Kailin said as she took a drink.

The game drags on and on and we learn lots about each other and some things that the others may regret revelling later on when Kaitlin will no doubt bring it up and use it agents them. We talk and laugh for hours getting drunker and stupider by the minute I look around then nudge Kaitlin's arm to let her know that I want to tell her something in private.

"We should go home" I whisper to her.

"Why were having fun?" She said.

"Yeah well I need the toilet," I said giving her a look.

"Fine but you owe me a story about this not being your first relationship," Kaitlin said.
